ATC Swaps

Hello Hello

I have been working on ATCS (Artist Trading Cards) recently for a swap instead of the standard cards. Today I am sharing the ones I have created so far. Being that I only need to make 3 of each category I could be a little more detailed/creative and make some "one of a kinds".

Theme: November/December

Used Graphic 45 papers, all fussy cut images are heat embossed with Stampendous EP

Theme: Mason Jars:

Used Basic Grey Bittersweet 6X6 Pad, Mason Jars are pre-cut from Recollections. Most of the patterned pieces are sponged with brown ink.

Duel - Hopping Along!

Hello Hello -

Welcome to this month's duel! Suzy and Debbie have come up with a great theme for this month's duel. Our them this month is hopping along. Here in Suzy's words is how the theme came about:

"Debbie and I were talking about our challenge for the dazzlers/divas and how busy people are these days. Hopping from one thing to another. And low and behold the light bulb lit up and we thought of the same idea...that's how sister's brains work you know.....Anyway we always hopping so frogs came to mind and we both had stamp sets with frogs!"

On a personal note, my sister and I rarely come up with the same idea, and when we do, it's usually not a good one! LOL! :-) So I am glad Suzy and Debbie are holding up that on their end :-)

Anyzoo, the stamps are from Penny Back.I colored the images with prismacolor pencils and used some gamsol and blending stumps to soften the coloring up.  I did both the outside (above) and inside (below) of my card. I think I need to add this froggy set to my wishlist. Toadilly Cute if you ask me!

FMS#311 Christmas of Joy and Laughter

Hello Hello ~
Today I am sharing a card I created for the current sketch challenge on Freshly Made Sketches (#311) . I am using another snowman image (this one from Hero Arts) and a sentiment from the retired Stampin Up set Christmas Messages.  The patterned paper is from Crate Paper.

I really love this sentiment set, there are so many great greeting stamps to use:

SC669 - Frosty

Hello Hello

Been working on SCS Swaps this weekend, this card is for Barb's SNOW SNOW SNOW swap
I used SCS Sketch 669 for the layout.

The image (Frosty - Stampin Up) has been around a LONG time - since 2001 when it first came out. I just recently found the set at a rummage sale at a SU! event and I was so happy to add him to my collection. :)

MFTWSC365 - Best Witches

Hello Hello

Tonight I am sharing a card I made for this week's My Favorite Things Sketch Challenge. For my card I used the Little Witch PI girl (retired). I paper pieced her dress using patterned paper from the Doodlebug Designs Halloween Parade 6X6 pack. The rest of the image was colored with copics & I added a punched out velvet heart to her dress.  The bottom strip is also from the same pack. Then I used the MFT Fence and grass die-namics to give the cute girl  a little scenery. The the twine is from the Doodlebug Designs Halloween Pack.

Here is the inside of my card, more of the same patterned paper collection, and sentiment from another MFT Halloween set (Witch Way is the Candy)

The sketch is below:

SC667 Smitten Mitten

Hello Hello -

Today I am sharing a card  I made using some new goodies I got at Camp Stamp In Oga last weekend.  My SU! Demo Sarah holds a big SU! event 3X a year. It is always lots of fun, because I usually get to see some of my SCS Friends there (Barb is almost always there and Terry usually comes too!)

I made this card using some of the Quilted Christmas DSP And Ribbon that we call got as gifts for coming to the event. The dies and stamps are from Smitten Mitten / Many Mittens Framelits dies. At a previous event we made a different card using this set and I was in LOVE with it!

I used Splitcoast Sketch 665 for my layout! This is the 2nd of 4 sketch challenges I want to try this weekend!

Fox in the Garden (TMS425)

Hello Hello

today I am sharing a card I made from a kit that Tracie sent me (yes I am still behind on making card kit cards from this summer - I am slowly but surely making something from all of them!) Tracie sent me this and a couple of other ADORABLE images from Penny Black. I colored this one with prismacolor pencils and gamsol.

I used Tuesday Morning Sketch #425 for this one.  Thursday night I picked out 4 sketches I want to try out over the weekend. This is the first card of the four sketches! I will have another card ready to share tomorrow!

Thanks for Stopping By - Hugs ~ LJ
