Hello,
I have a quick post tonight, here is my card for MFTWSC25, been a couple weeks since I have been able to play. I used the MFT PI Crazy For Daisies and patterned paper from Basic Grey (Origins Collection). I also used a MFT Die-namic (dolly duos I think).
Thanks for stopping by!

Dueling Darlings June 2011
Hello ~
It's the 15th of the month (already - June is FLYING by!) so it's time for another Duel between the Diva's and Darlings. June is the perfect month for the theme, the great outdoors. Our hostess this month is Barb, and she's put together a fantastic kit of goodies for us all to play with. I started with this week's MOJO Monday Sketch, and my card kind of just took of from there into a happy campyland.
For this month's challenge we are sharing an outdoorsy story ~ so here goes.....When I was younger (about 20 years ago) we went on a camping trip (cabin) up north near Tomahawk WI (Lake Nokomis). We (my family) went with another family we are very good friends with. I have three very vivid memories of the trip:
- Inter-tubing on the river. I think I was supposed to be a 2-hour ride downstream, it took us all day as there was absolutely no current to help us along the way. I remember most everyone getting a little too much sun......and being very sore for quite awhile! For whatever reason (maybe because I was already really tan) I did not burn. Neither did a kid in the other family. So we tried to keep ourselves entertained while everyone "chilled" by playing lots of nerf table-tennis & trading baseball cards. I got really good at the table tennis part ~ we were pretty even so some games would go on and on....
- The little amusement park we went to one day. It was chilly, damp and drizzly yet we still managed to have a lot of fun. I think it was only in the 50's yet one of us kids still went down the water-slide. Brr Cold!
- Fishing and catching only Bullheads ~ my dad said not to catch them, but they were apparently attracted to my fishing line. So I lost a hook or two (the reason not to catch them, they like to really swallow the hooks).
I hope you enjoyed my post for today, Please check out the other Darling Diva's as well ~ to see what they have on their blog waiting for you:
Thanks for stopping by ~

MOJO194
Hello ~
My card today is for MOJO194 on the Mojo Monday Blog. When I saw this sketch earlier in the week I knew I wanted to play along. The sketch is a great for using up scraps. The owl image is from the SU! 2011 SAB Set ~ Punch Bunch. I used some retired SU! Patterned paper, spellbinders circles and circle scallops and an EK Success Scallop Border punch. My card stock and ribbon is also from SU!

SFYTT - June 2011
Hello Friends ~
Here is my card for this month's Sketch For You To Try Challenge. It also happens to be my card for Michele's Papertrey Ink (PTI) swap on SCS, which means I've already used the sketch six times.....Ha!
I used a PTI set that was only at Summer 2010 CHA - called Four of A Kind. This is one of my favorite floral sets. My patterned paper is from SU! Prints 6X6 pack. Ribbon is also from SU! (Dusty Durango), the brads are from Hobby Lobby. The flower is stamped with Not Quite Navy & the stem is stamped with Always Artichoke. I used spellbinders circles and scalloped circles. The base and scalloped circle are Terracotta Tile (PTI), and the other cardstock is Not Quite Navy. I also used a Not Quite Navy SU! Button in the middle.
Thanks for stopping by ~

MFTWSC22
Hello ~
Yipee summer is finally HERE to stay for awhile I think. I actually had my A/C on for awhile this morning. The cooler air felt very good. Once the humidity breaks today it will be much more nicer (and tolerable) out.
Anyway, my card today is very summery. :) I used the sketch from MFTWSC22 to create a square card with a lot of layers. I used the adorable PI Roll With It & patterned paper from Lime Twist, Fly A Kite. The twine is also from the Lime Twist Collection. The button and brads are from Basic Grey. Spellbinders Circles and Circle Scallops to use. The popped-up image was stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black and colored in with copics/prismacolor markers.
Thanks for stopping by, have a fantastic summer day!
Hugs ~ LJ
