Spartan Pride

Hello! Happy Friday!

Gina K Designs had a new release party last night ~~ sooooo much fun! I couldn't wait to get to the store and get my new stamps! And of course the first set I had to have was Sporty Accessories (designed by Melanie Muenchinger). This set is so cute! And totally up my alley being a sports fan!

This is the first card I made with the new set. I decided to go with my HS alma-mater team colors (McFarland Spartans). I love these blues together! The star image is from the new buy 3 get 1 free set Lazy Days of Summer.

Ok gotta go play some more!

Potluck Friday Challenge

Hello! Happy Friday!

I made this card for the Friday Potluck challenge over on StampTV, which was to use textures and patterns. The patterns part was easy, pretty DSP, but texture?  that was hard for me, until I remembered I picked up this corrugated card-stock at a stamping & scrapbooking show last fall (knew I was saving it for something LOL), I used Rupa's Guiding Light (Gina K Designs) for the images and sentiment (inside)

I also did the inside of the card this time, which I don't do very often, but I really wanted to use the sentiment, and with a dark card-stock base it kind of just worked this time.

Hope you enjoy!

Hello! I made this card for the latest Sketch Challenge over on Stamp TV. I haven't used "My Cuppa Joe" (Gina K Designs) in awhile so I pulled it out for the challenge. The DP is by Basic Grey (bittersweet) and I think it worked really well with this image.

Out of This World

Hello!

I think this is one of my favorite Wee-Tee cards I have made so far, and it just might be the colors. I've never used Pacific Point with Certainly Celery before, but this DP was in the DCWV Glitter Stack and it went really well together. I used this week's MoJo Monday Sketch for the layout.

Have a super day!

I have two spots (the 2nd of which I will share tomorrow) but this is the first one. I love making pocket cards. they are my favorite "special card" to make.

I hope you enjoy it and have a wonderful and safe Memorial Day!

Hello! Hope you are having a fantastic Memorial Day Weekend. I'm making a really good dent into my long list of swaps I have! This one is for Jen's "Don't Be a Square" swap.

I made the oval card with my nestaiblities & CuttleBug. I used the SU Set Branch Out.

Hello! Happy Saturday!

I thought I would post a card I made for a fancy fold swap Audrey is hosting on SCS. This is a Joy Card. I used Beate's Tutorial to make the card. They were a lot of fun to make. Now that I have  Score-Pal it's much easier to make these kind of cards! I used Asela's Zoo Animals (Gina K Designs) set for the card. This is such a CUTE set!

The inside of the card is below:

Recipe:
Stamps: Zoo Animals (Gina K Designs)
Paper: DCWV Animal Crackers, Pink Pirouette, Chocolate Chip, White
Access: SU Hodgepodge Hardware, Score-Pal, 1/16" Hole Punch, SU Brown Ribbon

Another StampTV Challenge - Badger Style

Last Monday's Color Challenge on StampTV was to use Red, Black and White. So of course I had to do a Bucky Wee-Tee! LOL! I did the image and sentiment on my computer, printed it out on 80 lb. Gina K Luxury White card stock and stamped the Wee Tee image over the top (it took a few tries to get it centered) I used this weekend's Sketch over on Taylored Expressions.

If I ever know of a family that's expecting and are huge Wisconsin Badger fans I'll have the perfect card to give them. LOL.

Sweet Wee-Tees!

Happy Friday!

I'm so excited to be a Guest Designer for Melanie's new set Wee Tees (Gina K Designs). Here is my card for today. Last weekend I was walking around the baby section (of course!) of a store at the mall, and I noticed that there is a lot of spring baby stuff with fruits on them (especially cherries!) So that's where I got the inspiration to make this card. This card could be used as a congratulations card to a new mom and dad, or even a birth announcement (think how cute the inside would be if there was a picture of a baby in a cherry or red onesie!). The sweet sentiment is from Melanie's "Have a Cookie" Set (also Gina K Designs). The onesie was stamped on Gina K 80 lb Luxury White Cardstock, and then I sponged Bashful Blue Ink over it.

I'm having SOOOOO MUCH Fun with Melanie's Wee Tee's set. I made a really cute project that Melanie is sharing on her blog today, so be sure to go over and check it out!

Have a super weekend!

Hugs ~ LJ

Good Evening!

This week's color challenge over on StampTV was to use chocolate/brown and any other colors. So I pulled out my Gina K Chocolate Kiss Paper, some SU DSP scraps and this is what I ended up with. I used Sweetest Blessings (Gina K Designs) for the stamp set. I really like these colors together. I tend to use SU DSP from different packs on one card. I also did some piercing on the one of the panels. The image was colored in with Prismacolor Markers.

Have a great night! :)
