ATC Swaps

Hello Hello

I have been working on ATCS (Artist Trading Cards) recently for a swap instead of the standard cards. Today I am sharing the ones I have created so far. Being that I only need to make 3 of each category I could be a little more detailed/creative and make some "one of a kinds".

Theme: November/December

Used Graphic 45 papers, all fussy cut images are heat embossed with Stampendous EP

Theme: Mason Jars:

Used Basic Grey Bittersweet 6X6 Pad, Mason Jars are pre-cut from Recollections. Most of the patterned pieces are sponged with brown ink.

Happy Mother's Day!

Hello ~

Happy Mother's Day to all moms, grandma's, aunties, sisters and those who are moms to others.......The card I am sharing today is the card I created for my mom this year. I used two sets from Gina K Designs, the coffee cup image is from Mugs and Kisses and the sentiments are from Notes to Mom. I used patterned paper from the Nook & Pantry 6X6 Pad (Basic Grey). The brads are from Basic Grey, and the white fibers are from American Crafts. On the inside of my card, I used another sentiment from Notes to Mom, more Basic Grey Brads,  Spellbinders Labels Ten, and the EK Success For Sale Sign Punch. The For Sale Sign Punch is one of my new "favorites". I want to use it on every card I make. :) I got it at Hobby Lobby with a 40% off coupon about 3 weeks ago. Just LOVE it!

Below is a photo of the inside of the card. Thanks so much for stopping by!

Basic Grey Recycle Challenge

Hello Friends,

My card for today is for the most recent Basic Grey Challenges Blog, which is to use something recycled on your project. My recycled item is the vintage paper on the bottom of the card, it's from a paper bag that came from a store quite some time ago. I cut part of the bag out and then sent it through my Big Shot with the SU! Top Note die, it is also used again as one of the layers of my flower.  The Basic Grey products used on this card are Archaic DP (green and striped pattern paper) and the green button. I also used Basic Grey Brads on the sentiment label.

Basic Grey Challlenge

Hello ~

Tonight I have been working on the current challenge on the "Basic Grey Challenge Blog". I came across this challenge blog lately, and I'm already in love with it, because of course I love my Basic Grey!  The challenge this time was a sketch, and I quickly pulled out one of my new Unity Itty Bitty Sets, "Rain or Shine".  I bought it before Valentine's Day thinking I would use it for some mod Valentine's Card, but I never got around to it. So being that this sketch features an oval for the main focal image, I now had the perfect reason to pull it out and ink it up.

I've used the Basic Grey Nook and Pantry collection for my patterned paper. The Cardstock is Wild Wasabi and Daffodil Delight (love this yellow shade!). I used some retired SU! Ribbon Originals & Basic Grey Buttons for embellishments. The sentiment was stamped with Wild Wasabi ink.

StampTV Sketch

Hello ~

Here is my card for this week's StampTV Sketch Challenge. I purchased Melanie's "Mugs & Kisses" from Gina K Designs recently. Such a FUN set to play with! I can see it working well with a lot of other Melanie's sets I currently have.  The patterned paper is from Basic Grey (Pyrus Collection). Just love all the rich colors in this collection. :)

Duelng Diva's #4

Good Morning!

It's time for this month's round of Dueling Divas. This month's hostess is Barbara Lynn, and the theme is "Thankfulness and Gratitude". Barb chose a beautiful whipper snapper image and sentiment for this month's challenge. She also included multiple embellishments, many of which are on my card, and some beautiful DP from Basic Grey (Indian Summer Collection).

Fall is a wonderful time of seasons, and my favorite seasons, I love the changing leaves, and the peaceful times before the winter days ahead allow me to reflect on things I am most thankful for, such as my health, my family & friends, and for the Lord above who is always watching over me and ones that I love. My life would not be the same without the many blessings I have been given, and for that I am very thankful not only during the fall season, but 12 months a year.

I also decorated the inside o the card which is shown below:

I hope you enjoyed my post for today, Please check out the other Darling Diva's as well,

Judy is next on the list

and now for the DUEL! Please start here, at Jeanette's blog!

MOJO164

Evening!

Here is my card for this week's Mojo Monday Sketch (MOJO164). No stamping on this card! The pattern paper & chipboard pieces are from Basic Grey (Jovial). I'm totally in love with the chipboard in this collection, the snowmen are so cute (will share something later with those). The only other accessory I used was SU! Chocolate Chip Satin Ribbon (Retired).

Thanks for looking, have a great night!

Challenges...

Hello!

Gina K had a fantastic monthly release Thursday. I was so determined to hold out this month and not get any new stamps, because I'm going to a big Shoebox Swap in Columbus, OH at the end of this month, but I couldn't resist getting two sets, and 100% Sweet is one of them! I made this card for one of the Release Challenges, which was to use Pink and Brown. I had to use my Basic Grey Bittersweet DP for this card!

Thanks for looking!

Merry and Bright

Tonight I'm posting another Gina K Challenge Card I made for this month's releases. For this challenge, we had to use a monochromatic color scheme, so I chose this background paper from Basic Grey (Wassail) and paired it up with Riding Hood Red and Close to Cocoa (my neutral). The sentiment is from SU All Year Cheer I (retired). The Reindeer image (from Rupa's "The Magic of Christmas" ~ Gina K Designs) was stamped in versamark, then embossed with SU Gold Glory powder.
