It's Been Awhile...

Trying to get back into posting again. I've been really bad about it lately and I really have not done much stamping. I need to get my MOJO back!

This is a card I made for one of the Gina K August Release Challenges. There are quite a few new Gina K Sets I want! :) This was a sketch challenge, so I pulled out Theresa's Out West set. I really love this new Dusty Durango SU Color, it's perfect for fall cards.

STVSC25

Hello! Hope you are having a fantastic Tuesday. It's so nice out today. I was able to turn the oven on this evening and make some magic bars without needing to turn the A/C on! Gotta love that anytime, but especially in August!

On to the stamping part of my post. this is the card I made for last week's Sketch Challenge over on Stamp TV. I used Asela's Zoo Animals Set (Gina K), Archaic Basic Grey DP, Dusty Durango, And Gina K Chocolate Kiss Cardstock, The ribbon is also Dusty Durango, and I added a few chocolate brads from Basic Grey up in the corner.

Have a great evening!

MFT Weekly Sketch Challenge

Hello ~

Time to share another weekly MFT Sketch Challenge Card I did. I really love their weekly challenges! This sketch uses the Girls Night Out set. I used about DSP from 3 or 4 different SU DSP Packs for this one. These kind of cards are great for using up scraps, which is really all I used except for the base.

Have a great night!

Hello!

Quick post for now, this is a card I made for Sam's Fall is Fun Swap. I combined the basket from Gina K's Whimsical Autumn Set and a sentiment from the SU Full of Life set. I have been wanting this SU set for a long time. The pattern paper is from K&CO (Tim Coffey Fall Collection, and then main Colors are SU Dusty Durango and Chocolate Chip.

I Got The Music In Me

Here is a card I made for my friend Cheryl's Music Themed Swap. She wanted us to pick a MJ song and incorporate it to our card, so I used my MFT Heartbreaker set, and used the lyrics from P.Y.T. (Pretty Young Thing) off of MJ's Thriller albums. It's still one of my favorite albums of all time and I listen to it at work a lot.

Black & WHite

Here is my other MFT Challenge Card for this week, which was to use Black and White. The only place that could have other colors is the image. I lined up the bride image from MFT's "Going To The Chapel" set. The DP is some of my favorite, from Black Market Paper Society.

It's a stormy Saturday here, so I'm hoping to get some more challenges and swaps done this afternoon.

MFT SKetch Challenge

Here is my card for this week's MFT Sketch challenge over on SCS. I used MFT's "A Scarf For Three" which was gifted to me by KelliJo. The DP is from SU (Holiday Lounge).

Thanks for looking!

Christmas Tag

Hello!

Not exactly Christmas yet (It's in the 80's here today) but I thought Cathy's Tag Challenge for the July Gina K Release was the perfect opportunity to get started.

This tag was made with the Gina K Set Warm and Cozy Christmas. I love this image of the little girl all bundled up with the snowman!

Layered Image Challenge

Hello! Here is another Gina K Designs July Release Challenge! Theresa wanted us to create a card by layering images. I pulled out the turtle from Rupa's "Whatever Floats Your Boat" for this one. I stamped the entire image once, colored it in with Prismacolor Markers, then stamped it again and colored in just the turtle part and cut it out and popped it up over the first stamped image with dimensionals.

Hello!

I got a chance to stamp today, and I've been working on the Gina K Designs July 2009 Release Challenges. One of the challenges was called Double Take, in which you were supposed to use one stamp set for the back ground, and a different set for the focal image.

I used Melanie's "Have A Cookie" for the background & Rupa's "My Cuppa Joe" for the focal image. The focal image is two stamps, I stamped the cupcake imagem, masked it with a post-it note, and then stamped the coffee cup over it.

Thanks for looking!
