Are You Cured Yet
Hello Hello -
Sharing a card I created for a Gina K Designs StampTv Challenge - "Third Time's the Charge" I used the cute set Sophie Pig for the images and sentiments. These cute sophie pigs cluttered the card a little bit, but I still like how it turned out :) I used patterned paper from Pink Paisley (Pen Pals 6X6 collection) and some Paper Studio heart bling on the banner panel.

Stamp TV Challenge
Hello ~ Hello
I decided tonight to play along with a Gina K Designs StampTV challenge that Lee posted on the StampTV Facebook page which was to use gingham on your card/project. I quickly pulled out this cute lil' snowman from Gina K - Warm Winter designed by Carolyn King.
And the saying goes, "Mistakes are the portals of discovery." - James Joyce (1882-1941). Or something like that.......
I'm only saying it because, the glitter was not supposed to happen....It was just supposed to be some clear sparkle pen and I accidentally grabbed a Quickie Glue pen. So then the Iridescent Ice EP came out, along with my heat gun (which honestly I have been avoiding since embossing 125 wedding invitations, perhaps it will stay out now)
That being said, I'm pretty happy with how it ended. And now I have a new use for the Quickie Glue Pen, other than to use it to adhere small pieces. :)
I paper pieced the heart with some of the gingham patterned paper (which is from a summer collection, the other side is black gingham - think picnic tables...) The red gingham and gold-lined green ribbon are both from Gina K Designs. The scalloped die at the bottom is from My Favorite Things (MFT) I added 3 blings to the upper right hand corner...
Below is a close-up picture of my little mistake..... :) I do think it sparkles quite well.....
Thanks for stopping by tonight!

12 Embellishments
Good evening,
It's been a LONG time since I completed all three Gina K release challenges, and this one was a little different - 12 embellishment pieces. I kept the card layout simple for this one. I used 8 mini brads (basic Grey), 2 regular sized brads (also basic grey) and two strips of ribbon (SU!) The sentiment is from Very Merry Christmas (Gina K Designs).

Vintagy Christmas Tags
Hello! I've been getting my stamping mojo back this weekend. Here is a set of four tags I made for a StampTV/Gina K Designs Release. The tree image is from Very Merry Christmas (stamped in Chocolate Chip) and the sentiment is from Tag You're It (stamped in Cherry Cobbler. I used Cranberry Tart and Soft Sand cardstock from Gina K Designs. I decided not do do any coloring on the images this time. I also used Spellbinders Label 17 for my "tag shape".
Here is one of the tags by itself:

StampTV Sketch
Hello, it's been awhile since I have done a StampTV Challenge. I totally love the new sketch that was posted today for this week! I used a Gina K Set called First Christmas. Since the Basic Grey Wassail 6X6 pad was still sitting out on my desk, I used it again. :) The cardinal image is popped up for a little dimension. I'm starting to get on a roll with Christmas cards for this year, which is a good thing since Christmas is only 33 days away! All I need is a little Christmas music....Hmmmmmm
Have a great Monday evening,
Hugs ~ LJ

Little Doggy
Hello Stamping Friends!
Here is a card I made for last week's StampTV Sketch Challenge. I used my new Max and Whiskers Basic Grey DP and "Warm & Fuzzy" stamp images from Gina K Designs. The brown border is a new Edge Die from Tim Holtz I found at a recent scrapbooking/stamping show. Totally love it and know I will be using it a lot.
Hugs and have a great night!

Best Friends.....
Hello, todays card I made for the 3/18 Sketch Challenge over on StampTV, and I also made this card for 2CuteCats Nestabilites swap over on SCS. I used Warm & Fuzzy (Gina K Designs) for the image and sentiment. The DP is retired from SU (so wish they would bring back Baja Breeze and Pacific Point back!) I used Circle & Blossom Two Nestabilities with this card. When I was at CHA in January I got 4 flower Nestabilities sets for $50! Now that spring is coming, I really want to start using them. Have a great Monday!

Late Challenge
Hello ~ Been taking a little break from blogging lately, as I've been working on a big project recently (of which I hopefully will be able to share sometime). But I wanted to share a card I made for last week's StampTV Color challeng which was to only use Pink and White for colors. I made this card using Rupa's "Oh Baby" set (Gina K Designs). The pink polka-dot dp is from October Afternoon, "Ducks In A Row". I love this paper collection. I stamped the image on white, and the DP, cut them out and then adhered them to the white layer.
Thanks for looking!

Hope Is Faith

Hello, tonight's card I'm sharing I made for this week's Thursday Sketch Chalenge over on stamptv, using "Hope is Faith" from Gina K Designs. Throughout the month of February, Gina K Designs is donating $2 from each set will go to the Red Cross to support their work they are doing in Haiti to help the residents recover from the earthquake. Since I couldn't fit the sentiment on the front of the card, I designed the inside of the card (below). For my color combination I used Gina K Chocolate Kiss and SU! Crushed Curry. The DP is from Basic Grey's Origins collection. I stamped the butterfly image in chocolate chip, and colored using prismacolor markers, then sponged around the image with Summer Sun and So Saffron ink, after cutting it out with a nestabilites die.

Gina K Challenge - Pattern Embossing
Last week's Techinque Challenge over on StampTV was to create a card using Pattern Embossing. I'll be the first to admit, I'm normally intimidated by challenges that involve a multitple-step process! But Gina K's how-to video was so easy to follow, I had no problems at all. It was just a matter of making sure I had all of the items needed to complete the challenge. I used two Gina K Stamps Sets for this summer, the snowflakes come from Rupa's Magic of Christmas Set, and the bold stars come from Gina K's Lazy Days of Summer Set. Hugs ~ LJ

Gina K Challenge - Faux Window
Good evening, Thought I would share a Gina K Challenge I completed for this week, called Faux Window. It looks a little more difficult than it really is. I started off with a 3.5" square white piece of Gina K Luxury White Cardstock, stamped my ornament image twice (masking one over the other), then covered both ornament images with masks (used Post it Notes) and stamped the branches around the ornaments. I then cut the 3.5" square and assembled the rest of the card.
I didn't realize until I was done that these would be pretty large ornaments to be hanging outside, and that the weight of the ornaments would probably cause then to fall off the branch in the first place, but I guess that's what imaginations are for (anything is possible).
Have a great night!

Ornamental Joy!
Greetings! Hope you are having a terrific Wednesday. I went Christmas shopping with my dad after work tonight. The department store we went to was packed! I can't believe the amount of christmas shoppers out already. It's not even Thanksgiving yet. But I got a good start tonight so I'm glad I went!
Anyways, this is my card for the latest Gina K Sketch Challenge over on StampTV. For this card I used First Christmas. This is a single ornament image, I just stamped it twice, colored the images in and layered them one over the other. The sentiment is from another Gina K Set that I use a lot, Tag You're It. The card is 4.25" and the DP is from SU's current catalog.
Hugs ~ LJ
PS - I have some super cool news to share with you, but can't tell you until Monday, so please stick around and check back in :) Thanks!

I used my SU Rectangle nestabilities, and cut off the top that had scalloped-edges. The buttons are from Basic Grey & the Tafetta Ribbon is SU! (Riding Hood Red).
