Whipper Snapper Swap - Spot #2
Hello, quick share tonight - here is my 2nd card for Barb's Whipper Snapper Swap, I used this week's sketch over on the Crazy 4 Challenges Blog. The DP is from American Crafts, and my solid cardstock colors are Not Quite Navy (SU), Dusty Durango (SU) and Green Apple (Gina K). I also used some Dusty Durango SU! Polka Dot Ribbon.
I love this DP from American Crafts, I created an extra card from the leftover DP Scraps (below) using a retired SU Set (Just Cause' I Like You). The scalloped die behind the main image is from The Tim Holtz Sizzix Collection (totally love this line of dies!)

Whipper Snapper Swap - Spot #1
Hello,
Today I thought I would share one of my cards I created for Barb's Whipper Snapper Swap over on SCS. These images are so cute and I don't have any yet, so Barb was gracious enough to loan me some of hers awhile a go to play with. The sentiment on the inside of the card (below) just cracks me up!
Hope you enjoy, have a wonderful rest of the weekend

Vacation Time
Hello all,
Don't usually share non-stamping stuff on here, but wanted show a few pictures of where I've been vacationing this past week. Each year my friend Scott and I go on at least one (sometimes more) baseball tours with Jay Buckley Baseball Tours. This year was my 25th tour (I started traveling with them in 1996).
Been to Wrigley Field in Chicago, many times before, but never a night game. The Chicago Cubs are my favorite team. I took this photo down the left field line late in the game (our seats for the game were actually very good - just off the first base side of home plate, just couldn't see the entire scoreboard)
Day 2 (Wednesday) - Target Field MN
This is the newest park in the major leagues, and the primary reason why we selected this trip. It's right in downtown Minneapolis. The top picture was taken from my seat for the game. Bottom picture was taken before the game. Absolutely beautiful ballpark. I can see why Twins fans wanted an open air stadium.
Day 3 - Kansas City
Quite the ride from the twin cities, we arrived in Kansas City about 2 hours prior to game time (after dropping off luggage at the hotel - nice little bonus there getting that done before the game). Kauffman Stadium has gone through an extensive renovation over the last 3 years, and was just awarded the 2012 All-Star Game. This park is even more beautiful than it was before. On either side of the scoreboard are beautiful waterfalls that go off during the game. The concourse is open, and they have added a Royals Hall of Fame on the outfield terrace level which is really nice. The Kids Corner out in Center field behind the scoreboard is also a great area, even has a Royals' themed carousel. Below is another picture of me from KC
Day 4 - St Louis
Didn't make it up to the top of the Arch, but some nice partly cloudy skies made for some beautiful pictures of it. We later saw St. Louis play the Oakland A's, and this is by far one of my favorite pictures of the trip - was playing with some of the gadgets on my point & shoot camera, and got this shot of Busch Stadium:
Day 5 we headed back to Chicago for another game at Wrigley, which I won't talk about too much as my Cubs got clobbered by the Angels 12-0 :( Still a great trip lots of fun, lots of great people to travel with, and I'm already looking forward to the next one!

Heading out tomorrow for a week of watching the boys of summer (baseball) around the midwest, but wanted to quickly share a card I made for a MFT swap I joined on SCS. I took 3 spots, and this is my first card using Pure Innocence Birthday Princess. I paper-pieced the dress and birthday hat, and colored the rest in with copics.
Have a great weekend, and will see you in about a week.

Little Doggy
Hello Stamping Friends!
Here is a card I made for last week's StampTV Sketch Challenge. I used my new Max and Whiskers Basic Grey DP and "Warm & Fuzzy" stamp images from Gina K Designs. The brown border is a new Edge Die from Tim Holtz I found at a recent scrapbooking/stamping show. Totally love it and know I will be using it a lot.
Hugs and have a great night!

Love you a Latte
Hello,
It's a rainy Saturday, so I got a lot of time to play with stamps and create today (yipee!) Today's card was for this week's MFT WSC Challenge, which was a sketch. The one thing I love about this week's challenge is this sketch can be used with SO many different images, and it's also for a square card. I chose to use Coffee With Flopsey for my image and sentiment, and dug out some old retired SU DP that has been sitting in my scrapbox too long :)
Thanks for looking
Hugs ~ LJ
