Inktegrity Preview Day 2

Hello! It's preview day #2 for Inktegrity Designs, which means the release is tomorrow! Here is my preview card for today, using the North Pole image from the Sundae Best collection. The image was colored in with Prismacolor Markers.

I also used a bunch of punches on the card, which was Saturday's challenge on the Crazy 4 Challenges Blog

Don't forget to check out the rest of the DT to see what they have come up with, as this image has so many possibilities:

Inktegrity Preview Day 1

I'm so excited the day is finally here and I can show you the latest Inktegrity digi images that Joni has created! This is one of the new releases, isn't is sweet and yummy? I colored the image in with prismacolor markers, and used Basic Grey Eskimo Kisses paper that was RAKd to me by Kate (Celestial_Stamper on SCS). The snowflake dies are from Spellbinders. I also used this weeks Tuesday Morning Sketch for this card.

Don't forget to check out what the other Inktegrity DT Members are creating with this adorable image, which will be on sale in her store on December 1st. :)

Gina K Challenge - Faux Window

Good evening,

Thought I would share a Gina K Challenge I completed for this week, called Faux Window. It looks a little more difficult than it really is. I started off with a 3.5" square white piece of Gina K Luxury White Cardstock, stamped my ornament image twice (masking one over the other), then covered both ornament images with masks (used Post it Notes) and stamped the branches around the ornaments. I then cut the 3.5" square and assembled the rest of the card.

I didn't realize until I was done that these would be pretty large ornaments to be hanging outside, and that the weight of the ornaments would probably cause then to fall off the branch in the first place, but I guess that's what imaginations are for (anything is possible).

Have a great night!

Silent Night

Hello! Hope you have been having a fantastic weekend. It's been a busy but exciting one for me, as Friday Night I want to the One of A Kind Stamp and Scrapbook show with my friend Barb, and yesterday I travelled to Evanston, IL with my friend Scott to watch the Wisconsin-Northwestern Football game. The Badgers lost 33-31, but it was still a wonderful day as it was a good football game & the weather was great (especially for mid-November).

At the stamp show Friday Night, one of the sets I picked up was the one I made today's card with, called Blessed Christmas from Our Daily Bread Designs. This is the first time I can remember them being at this stamp show. Some of the display cards were absolutely stunning. Anyways, I fell in love with this set. This card also uses two other things I purchased Friday night, Labels 8 Nestabilities, and Fancy Tags Shapeabilities. I have been wanting the Fancy Tags for awhile so I was glad I was able to find them! The size of this card is 5.5" X 5.25".

Have a super evening! More FUN news tomorrow!

Big Flakes and Christmas Treats

Hello! Here is a cello treat bag I made using the Jumbo SU! Felt Snowflakes from last year's Holiday Mini Catalog. The bag topper was made with the SU! Top Note Die. The sentiment is from a Gina K Set, "A Very Merry Christmas", designed by Theresa Momber. The sentiments in this set are so wonderful to use for all kinds of Holiday Projects. :)

Have a wonderful night! I'm going to the "One of A Kind" Stamp and Scrapbook show here in Madison tomorrow night with my friend Barbara Lynn and another fellow stamper (Jean) that I have not met yet so it should be a wonderful evening! I hope I find lots of new goodies to play with this weekend!

Ornamental Joy!

Greetings!

Hope you are having a terrific Wednesday. I went Christmas shopping with my dad after work tonight. The department store we went to was packed! I can't believe the amount of christmas shoppers out already. It's not even Thanksgiving yet. But I got a good start tonight so I'm glad I went!

Anyways, this is my card for the latest Gina K Sketch Challenge over on StampTV. For this card I used First Christmas. This is a single ornament image, I just stamped it twice, colored the images in and layered them one over the other. The sentiment is from another Gina K Set that I use a lot, Tag You're It. The card is 4.25" and the DP is from SU's current catalog.

PS - I have some super cool news to share with you, but can't tell you until Monday, so please stick around and check back in :) Thanks!

MOJO 113 - Celebrate the Magic!

Happy Monday!

Here is my card for this week's Mojo Monday Sketch. The adorable teddy bear is from Asela's First Christmas set (Gina K Designs) the sentiment is from another Gina K Set, Sandy Claws is Coming to Town. This bear image is going to look so cute on some of my niece's 1st Christmas scrapbook pages! I can't wait for Christmas this year. I love Christmas every year, but this year is extra special since I have been blessed with a darling little girl to love and adore.

Have a great night!

Thank you.....

Hello! I thought I would share a card I made for my Dad to use, we had a pretty big "happening" in the family on Friday the 13th, my dad Larry retired after 35+ years with the McFarland School District. We celebrated by going out to dinner with close family and friends and had a really good time. Anyhow, dad wanted a card to give to the staff at the school where he worked to thank them for everything they did for his retirement. The "catch" was he wanted a BIG card to give to them. I wanted to come up with something elegant, so this is what I made using SU's Bella Blossoms. I love this set because the image is beautiful when colored with multiple marker colors. The card base is 5.5" X 8.5". The colors I used were Handsome Hunter, Rich Razzleberry, and Chocolate Chip.

Have a great night, and Dad, if you are reading this I love you and am very proud of you, congratulations on your retirement! Now get to work on that golf swing *wink*!

TESC90

Happy Monday!

Here's another sketch challenge card ~ this one is for the Taylored Cupcakes Sketch Challenge that was posted Friday. I'm trying to use challenges to get my Christmas Cards done for this year. For this sketch, I used the penguin image from Gina K's Sandy Claws is Coming to Town set. I punched out the part of the image I wanted to use, after coloring it in with Prisma Color Markers.

MOJO 111 - Many Thanks!

Happy Sunday,

I wrote down 4 sketches to work on this weekend, I've completed just one so far....This one is the MOJO Monday Sketch. I used Carolyn's Whimsical Autumn (Gina K Designs) set for this card. Isn't the ribbon gorgeous??? I got a bunch of the pretty stuff in fall colors from my friend Michele in NJ when I went to the east coast this fall. It worked really well with the fall paper from K&Co.

Have a great night!

Snow Time

Happy Friday!

It's really hard to think about snow up here in Wisconsin right now ~ normally everyone would be getting their winter gear and equipment ready for the snowfalls we endure during the winter months, but it's supposed to be in the mid-60's tomorrow so people will be in t-shirts and shorts like it's the middle of summer :)

Anyways, tonight I am sharing a snow-themed card I created for a SNOW swap (of all themes!) The stamps are from a newer set Carolyn King created for Gina K Designs called "Warm Winter Wishes".

Just love this cute snowman holding the heart. I used Prismacolor Markers to colored him in. The red ribbon is from Gina K Designs, white ribbon from Offray.

Have a super night!

Stocking Stuffers

These are kids' stocking stuffers that I made for KelliJo's swap over on SCS. I still love the the stamps in this older SU Sellabration Set for things like this. Each Stocking Stuffer has a pack of gum sandwiched in between two top-note dies. The pattern paper is from Basic Grey. I'm hoping to get some posting done this weekend, as things are starting to settle down around here now that the Regular Wisconsin Badger Football season is winding down (only have one more home game left).

As always, thanks for looking!

Hugs ~

PS - how do you like my new blog design? Cute!
