MFTWSC60 - You Make The Grade
Hello ~ Hello!
Found time this week already to play around with this week's MFT Sketch (#60). I used the MFT Pure Innocence Set "You Make The Grade." I colored the image with my markers, fussy cut it, and then layered it on top of the circle die. The circle die is sponged with Bashful Blue ink. I then made a kraft "ground" from the same size circle die. That piece was sponged with Close to Cocoa Ink. (I sponged more on the top part than the bottom to give it a little dimension). My patterned paper is from October Afternoon Schoolhouse Collection. Ribbon and brads are from SU! I also used a open scallop MFT Die-namic for my border on the bottom of the card.
Thanks for stopping by tonight, the sketch is below ~ Hugs ~ LJ

TESC ~ Farm Fun!
Hello ~ Hello ~
This is my second post for the day :) I couldn't wait to share my card for the latest Taylored Expressions Sketch Challenge. "Udderly Sweet" is one of my favorite TESC Sets. Most crafters have a love or hate relationship with cuppie stamps - mine is all LOVE!
The image is stamped with memento tuxedo black on PTI White and colored in with markers. I then framed the white oval on a Real Red Oval. I normally color my cuppies with prismacolor PM-7 Magenta and then use the colorless blender pen to lighten up the middle of the face. I started with prismacolors when I first started coloring images (actually I was a SU! Marker person first) and then gradually bought some Copics. I use both in my coloring now, but to be honest I like the "feel" of Prismacolors better. I feel like I can control the color and blend colors better with those.
All of the patterned paper is from October Afternoon. I used a Jumbo Scalloped MFT Die-namic at the bottom. The red ribbon is from SU! Not sure where the red bling is from. I just have a little bling drawer and keep all the sheets in there. :) I left the inside blank so I can customize the sentiment for whenever I need the card. The other card stock (Lemon Drop & Green Apple) is from Gina K Designs (the Real Red is from SU!)

I Spy......
Hello ~ Hello
Here's my card for this week's I Spy Sketch Challenge I love sketch challenges and was so happy to see a new sketch blog start up that I can play along with! My only major change to the original sketch was I went with 3 banners at the bottom instead of 4......I guess I like doing things in odd numbers.... ;)
For my card I decided to go with a Baby theme. Baby cards is not something I need a lot of, but at the same time, I don't have many on-hand either. I used images from a Gina K Designs Set - "Oh Baby". The patterned paper is from Jo Ann's (a 4X6 stack from a number of years back). The circle heart die is from Spellbinders. I also used some pink Satin Ribbon (SU!) Some twine (October Afternoon), a few buttons, and MFT Fishtail Die-Namics.
This week I moved my Big Shot and dies / cuttlebug folders from the kitchen table to my craft area....So my dies are getting more "love". My only thought after moving it was "Why did I wait so dang long to move it? " LOL.
So off I go, thanks for stopping by, the sketch is below if you would like to try it out yourself!

MOJO228 - It's a Good Day

Popping in today with my card for this weeks' MOJO Monday Sketch (#228) I flipped the orientation from portrait to landscape as it fit the image & sentiment better (which are both from Unity Stamp Co.

SFYTT - February
Hello ~ Hello
I hope you are having a splendid Saturday so far, the sun is shining brightly here in Wisconsin. I'm elated to not to have to turn the heat on in February. :)
Today's card is for February's Sketch For You To Try. I love how this lil friendship card turned out! I used a cling-mount set from Stampendous today. This one of my all time favorite sets. Changito is such a cutie! The images were stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black and colored in with prism markers. The main image is matted with Blossom Spellbinders Dies. I used some circle punches for the elements on the side, and then added a couple of Basic Grey brads for embellishments on the corners. The patterned paper I used is from MME // Lime Twist // Out of The Blue collection.

Enjoy The Journey
Hello ~ Hello
I hope you are having a fantastic Thursday ~ It's almost the weekend!
My card today is for this week's Crazy For Challenges' Challenge ~ and it's a sketch this week (you know how I love sketch challenges!) I've created a more simpler card than I normally do. I do actually love simple cards, and I hope to get into making more of them.
My images are from Tim Holtz // Stampers Anonymous. I absolutely love Tim Holtz products (I tend to collect more than use however ~ LOL). I found the "Playful Journey" cling set at Hobby Lobby recently and had to get it. For my colors I used Chocolate Chip, Vanilla (PTI), and Baja Breeze. The image and sentiment are stamped in Rich Cocoa Memento Ink. I used a Vanilla Jumbo SU! Brad at the top for a little embellishment. I think the patterned paper is from Crate Paper.
