TMS #541 - Happy Valentines Day

Hello Hello!

It's time for another Tuesday Morning Sketch Challenge! This week it's Melissa's favorite and it's one of mine too! I love the doily off to the side. So much fun.

My card (this is the last valentine's card from me I promise!) features the Sealed With Love set from Stampin Up. I've used this set a lot this year for Valentines. I really love the font of the sentiments and didn't use it much when I got it. (So I guess I am making up for lost time - ha!). All of the patterned papers are from my "stash" which is slowly dwindling down.

Here is the sketch (designed by Debbie) if you would like to play along!

Sketch #490 - Lori's Pick

Hello Hello

It's Tuesday Morning Sketch time! I was so excited to see that 32 crafters took in my favorite sketch last week! Hooray! This week  we are on Sketch #490 and this is the favorite that Lori picked out! I haven't made too many valentines this year - so I used this sketch as an opportunity to make one! I'm pretty happy with how this one turned out! The sketch is below:

As always - you can check out the rest of the Design Teem Inspiration by clicking on the links on the right side of my blog!

Hello ~ Hello

Today's post is for some cards I made for a recent Valentines swap on SCS. The stamps are from the set "Valentine Defined" from Stampin Up. I thought these turned out really cute :) I haven't used my SU! Markers to color directly on the stamps in awhile. The small hearts are from the SU! 3 heart punch.

Love Card

Hello ~ Hello

Thought I would quickly share some Saturday morning mojo :) I picked up the scrabble adhesive letters at JoAnn's recently (they are from Basic Grey). The washi tape (from Maya Road) heart was really easy to create (I'm sure this has been done before, but when I got into my craft area this morning it was the first idea that popped into my head) .  I layered 4 or five short pieces on to white cardstock, and then hand-cut a heart out. added some leftover DP (from Crate Paper- Fourteen Collection) & some ribbon and twine (both american crafts) and it came together quite quickly.

Thanks for stopping by.....Tomorrow I will be sharing another card I made with the Crate Paper DP :)

Dueling Divas ~ Love

Time for another Darling Diva's post......

Jamie is our lovely hostess this month, and the theme for February is LOVE.  Jamie has sent us the cutest card kit this month to play with, just love all the bright pink shades she has chosen! The main image is from Inkadinkado (Animal Hearts), and then sentiment is from Stampin' Up! I chose to do something different this month and make a 4.25" square card, since the image just fit perfectly. My supplies were oval punches, heart border punch, and Melon Mambo SU! card stock, everything else you see was in Jamie's kit.

This card is also being entered for this week's C4C challenge which is to use hearts :)

I hope you enjoyed my post for today, Please check out the other Darling Diva's as well (Judy just started her blog recently ~ Congrats!!!)

Judy is next on the list

What a great sketch for a quick card or two! I've added a recipe below for those interested.

Darlene's Swap Card

Hello!

Hope you all have had a marvelous weekend! My weekend was full of watching lots of the NFL Playoffs and getting some swaps done I have due in the next couple of months.

Above is a card I made (well 6 of them LOL) for Darlene's "Why Did I Buy This?" Swap on SCS. We were supposed to use supplies we had bought over a year ago, but never used. I didn't quite follow directions on this one (oopsie) but Darlene agreed to let me slide on through with this little adorable guy. I probably have not used this vibrant purple color though in over a year. I know the coordinating ink-pad is stashed away in the bottom of one of my drawers. I'm just not a "brights" person unless it's Pacific Point (and then I am all over it LOL). The image (so cute!) is from the SU! Set Happy Heart Day (retired). I dipped into my stash of flowers, older brads (I think these are from Making Memories, as I just found another unopened package today in my embellishment bins). The Ribbon is about 2 years old from SU! (retired).

Thanks for stopping by ~
