TMS #537 - Thanks

Hello Hello

We have another Tuesday Morning Sketches favorite for you today. This week is Debbie's favorite sketch which was originally shared on 4/24/19 as sketch #501. I love all the different thin strips on this sketch (it's a favorite of mine too!)

My card features patterned paper from Authentique and stamps & dies from Lawn Fawn. I had some leftover scraps from a nautical-themed album I finished recently so I used some of those on my card.

Here is the sketch if you would like to try it out:

Thanks so much for stopping by today! Hugs ~ LJ

TMS #502 - Out of This World

HELLO HELLO

It's tuesday so we have another fun Tuesday Morning Sketch to play with this week. We are on Sketch #503. I have a monthly swap due on the 10th - and our theme is May the 4th. So I pulled out my Out of This World set from Lawn Fawn for it. I made 6 of these. I think they turned out super cute.

I also used patterned paper from The Paper Studio (Hobby Lobby) Star gems from Tim Holtz, and Silver Ribbon from Stampin Up. I colored the four images with my Stampin Up Blend Markers, cut them with my Scan-N-Cut 2, then popped them up on dimensionals. I do have the coordinating dies, but when making multiples of the same card the SNC2 is totally the way to go!

Here is the sketch if you would like to play along!

As always, there is great Design Team inspiration for this week's sketch, you can find the other DT creations by clicking on their names on the right side of my blog.

TMS 492 - Pattie's Pick

Hello Hello!

It's Tuesday Morning Sketch day! Today we have Pattie's favorite from 2018! I like this sketch a lot! For my images and sentiment I used the cute Science of Love  set from Lawn Fawn! I colored the images with Stampin Blend Markers. The patterned paper is Stampin Up (from my my scrap stash) and I added some blue gingham ribbon (also from Stampin Up) The star embellishments on the sentiment panel are from October Afternoon.

Below is the sketch if you would like to play along! You have until Sunday, 8pm (EST) to create and post your entry on the Tuesday Morning Sketch Blog  You may either post your entry on your blog or you may post to an online gallery.

Here is this week's sketch. As always, you can find more inspiration by checking out the rest of the Design Team - their blog links are on the right side of my blog ---->

FMS #369 - A is for Astronaut

Hello Hello

Today I want to share a card for a new swap I have joined in 2019 called the A to Z swap on Splitcoast Stampers (SCS). We start at the beginning of the year, and make two cards per month using the letters of the alphabet to pick our theme/subject! Also the 2 cards we create each month are sent to another participant, so in January I will receive 2 cards ("A" and "B") from Emily and I will send my two A & B Cards to another person! So it's kind of like a "Round Robin". At the end of the 2019 I will have an entire alphabet of cards from 12 other swappers. Since there are 26 letters there will be 2 months were we make and swap 3 "letter" cards.

Anyway - on to my card. I chose the word "Astronaut". so that I could use my cute space-themed set from Lawn Fawn and one of my favorite paper collections - Rocket Age from October Afternoon! I used this weeks' sketch from Freshly Made Sketches for inspiration (sketch below)

Hoppy Easter

Hello Hello ~
Sharing a quick card I made for my niece Tavi for Easter this year. I used one of the Lawn Fawn Mini Sets (Hoppy Easter) and last week's Freshly Made Sketch for inspiration. The cloud embossing folder is from stamping up and the green grass was cut with Lawn Fawn Stitched Hillside Border dies . Super easy and cute to make!

DAY 5 - 25 Days of Christmas Cards

Hello ~ Hello

Happy Monday! We had close to 5" of snow here yesterday (officially 5'7" in the city of Madison) so I thought it would be fun to share a "cool" penguin snow card today.  I used images from Lawn Fawn' SNOW COOL set. Thankfully I remembered to order the coordinating dies when I got this set - they make these fun scenes so much easier! My penguin stamp collection has grown a little bit over the past couple of years. My friend Donna loves penguins so I am always looking for new penguin stamps to use on cards. They are a pretty cute animal.

All of the patterned paper is from last years SU! Holiday Mini Catalog (so it's retired). I used a scalloped card base from my stash. The stitched hillside borders and the square stitched die are also from Lawn Fawn. I heat embossed the white snow with White EP from SU!

Thanks for stopping by today! Hugs ~ LJ

Day 4 - 25 Days of Christmas

Hello ~ Hello

It's day 4 of 25 cards for Christmas - It's been really fun so far pulling out my Christmas stamps and creating a Christmas Card every day. Today's card is on the fun side, using a limited edition set that Simon Says Stamps put out last year by Lawn Fawn called "Merry Christmouse". They brought back the set this year for a limited time and it already sold out, but if you would like to see the entire set CLICK HERE

Below is what else I used on my card:

Cardstock: Gumball Green, Real Red, SU White
Patterned Paper: Retired SU DSP from my stash
Other: Spellbinders Card Builder Dies, SU Scallop Edge Punch, Red/white twine (Maya Road), Dimensionals, Copics

You can see the rest of my cards so far by scrolling down or clicking on the "25CardsForChristmas" label below.
