PTI Swap

Hello ~ Hello.

Sorry I haven't been posting lately. I've been on a baseball vacation for 10 days......3800 miles, from Chicago to Miami and back. Great trip. :) Always love going to baseball games no matter who is playing (I did get to see my favorite team, the Chicago Cubs twice!)

So today I have two things to share, a card and a tag, both were for a PTI Swap I was in recently.

First here is the tag. I used Everyday Button Bits & Up, Up and Away. The patterned paper is from american crafts, the tag was pre-bought from a craft store, ribbon from SU!, and button from SU!

Here is the card (which was for a general card category)

for this card I used stamps from PTI (On the Farm), patterned paper from Reminiscence, Brads from Basic Grey, and Ribbon from SU!

It's REALLY hot here (like it is around a lot of the country) so I will be crafting some more this weekend. Thanks for stopping by!

PTI Button Tag

Hello Hello

Hope you are all having a fantastic Sunday! Here is a button tag I created yesterday morning with stamps and dies from PTI. The set I used is called Button Boutique. I have had the set for awhile, but just recently got the coordinating dies that go with the set! The patterned paper are just some scraps from Graphic 45 (ABC Primer Collection) leftover from another card I made.

Thanks for stopping by! Hugs ~ LJ

SFYTT June 2012

Hello ~ Hello!

Here is my card for this month's Sketch For You To Try.  I used some of my new PTI Stamps - On The Farm. I bought the dies with the stamp set, so the horse was super easy. The patterned paper is from My Mind's Eye, ribbon from American Crafts, bling brads from SU!

Thanks for stopping by! Have a great day! Hugs ~ LJ

Dueling Divas

Hello ~ Hello

Here is my card for this month's dueling divas kit challenge - this month's hostess was Jamie.  This month's theme is masculine in honor of all the great men in our lives :) Of course my Dad would be the great guy in my life. :) He's always there encouraging me and supporting me when I need it the most (and also keeping me "grounded" which is not always so easy to do).

Jamie sent us a fun kit with images from SU! Open Sea. I really liked the boat image so that is what I went with. I used most of the adorable DSP that is from Bo Bunny. The only thing added to the card NOT from the kit is the blue cloud, which I punched out.

Here is the inside of my card:

I hope you enjoyed my post for the day.......be sure to check out all the rest of the Duel (note you may need to scroll down a bit on their blogs, since I am posting 2 days late this month) :(

Please start here, at Jeanette's blog for our friendly duel

Happy Memorial Day!

Hello ~ Hello

HAPPY MEMORIAL DAY!

I hope you all have a wonderful Memorial Day full of parades, BBQ's, and great family time! Please take a moment to remember those that served for us, and those that continue to keep our country free and safe. :)

My card was created for Barb's Red, White, and Blue swap over on SCS. I made six of these. The images and sentiment are from  Papertrey Ink, "Est. 1776". I couldn't find many samples with this set (unfortunately). It's going to be a favorite set of mine. The eagle image was cut out with scissors. The rest of the card was fairly simple. I used this SCS sketch for inspiration:

MAY 2012 SFYTT

Hello ~ Hello

I'm back with this month's Sketch For You To Try Challenge. It's a great sketch. I love sketches that I can use a lot of patterned paper on. :) The Images are from My Favorite Things (Up Up and Away)  I also used the coordinating die-namics  Lately I have been finding myself buying LESS stamp sets, but the ones I do buy, I buy the coordinating dies if they have them.  It makes it so much easier to create and get more out of one set.  When this set came out MFT was not selling die-namics yet. I use this set more now that I have the dynamics to go with it, because I don't have to fussy-cut the balloon images.

All of the other supplies are retired from SU! (Ribbon and DSP). The rectangle die-cuts are from spellbinders.

Thanks for stopping by, the sketch is below! Hugs ~ LJ
