Hello ~ Hello
Here is my card for this month's dueling divas kit challenge - this month's hostess was Jamie. This month's theme is masculine in honor of all the great men in our lives :) Of course my Dad would be the great guy in my life. :) He's always there encouraging me and supporting me when I need it the most (and also keeping me "grounded" which is not always so easy to do).
Jamie sent us a fun kit with images from SU! Open Sea. I really liked the boat image so that is what I went with. I used most of the adorable DSP that is from Bo Bunny. The only thing added to the card NOT from the kit is the blue cloud, which I punched out.
Here is the inside of my card:
I hope you enjoyed my post for the day.......be sure to check out all the rest of the Duel (note you may need to scroll down a bit on their blogs, since I am posting 2 days late this month) :(
Please start here, at Jeanette's blog for our friendly duel
Thanks for stopping by ~
Hugs ~ LJ

LJ, your card is worth the wait! You did a fantastic job with all the kit elements. I love how you created the three panels using the d.p. with the ribbon between the panels. Love how you cut the sailboat image so it seems to float out of the circle layers and your punched out cloud is the perfect touch! Beautiful job on the interior of the card too!! You knocked this challenge out of the park!!!
Great Card LJ--I love how you used the top note in the inside of your card.
I love this!! Perfect manly-man card!! And, you did get to spend some of the day with you Dad....woot woot!
Look how much of the kit you were able to use! That is great. I like how you used so much of the kit, without making the card too busy.
I was gonna say ... where'd you get the cloud! LOL! Lovely job, this is a delightful card design!! Love it from back to front and inside, too! Smashing! x0x0
Great card LJ! Love how you used so many different papers and it still looks good!
