2017 Divas Vs Darlings!
Hello Hello
Today is the 15th and I am so excited to show you the first Duel Darling card of the year. The divas hostess this month is Tami (she can be found at : BlueInks Design). I love the adorable Balloon Riley and patterned papers from Imaginisce. Most of what you see on the card is from the kit. I thought that that Riley image would look really cute popped up on the white tag that was in the kit. The 'Love' banner was made from my own stash with the exception of the pink hearts which were punched from another larger heart in the kit.
A little background about our little challenge group:
The Dueling Darlings are a group of friends from SCS that swap cards and beyond and formed a new group called the Dueling Darlings! Divided into Group A and B, which wasn't a cool name so we are now the Divas and the Dazzlers, have a monthly rotating hostess kit that goes out to make cards! The Divas have one card kit to work with, while the Dazzlers have another! It's fun to see what we "duel" up in cardstock, papers and wonderful images!
Below are the rest of the ladies that are participating in the Duel. I can't wait to see what they created! :
The Divas (my group - they all received the same kit) includes:

Are You Cured Yet
Hello Hello -
Sharing a card I created for a Gina K Designs StampTv Challenge - "Third Time's the Charge" I used the cute set Sophie Pig for the images and sentiments. These cute sophie pigs cluttered the card a little bit, but I still like how it turned out :) I used patterned paper from Pink Paisley (Pen Pals 6X6 collection) and some Paper Studio heart bling on the banner panel.

MFTWSC314 - Happy Trails
Hello Hello
Today I am sharing my card for MFT Sketch Challenge 317. The sketch is pretty simple as far as the layout goes, so I kept my card simple as well. I used a retired MFT Set - Ride Em CowGirl. The patterned paper is from Cosmo Cricket (Wanted 6X6 pad). Brads are from Paper Studio. I actually really like this sketch. Would be really easy to make up some Birthday or Thank you cards really quick is needed (and yet I go with Happy Trails - LOL!)
here is the sketch:
This was a loooonng time ago, but HERE is one of my favorite things I created with this set - a cute little tag. Also you can see the inside of the tag here: HERE . I still have it on display in my craft area :) I

Mystery Swap #38
Hello Hello
Today I am a sharing a card I created (4 of them actually) for Mystery Swap #38. For each round a hostess sends us images (and a sentiment if they choose) to create 4 cards from. The 4 cards (usually identical) are sent to the hostess, she swaps them out, and sends 3 cards back out, along with images from the hostess for the next round. So it's basically a Round Robin Card Swap.
This time around VickieY is our hostess and she sent some darling images and sentiment from a retired SU! Set "And Something Nice". I used my SU! Watercolor Wonder Crayons to color the image, and the patterned paper is from Doodlebug Designs. I really enjoyed working with some bright colors for a change! January is always so dreary in Wisconsin, lots of overcast days (and usually a bit of snow).
I hope the recipients of my card like what I created this time around, and I'm looking forward to seeing the ones I get back in return!
Thanks for stopping by today ~ Hugs - LJ

Chicken Birthday
Hello Hello ~
Popping in quickly to share a card I made for a swap recently. (well - recently = finished tonight!). this one is for Terry's Chicken Themed Swap. I pulled out an older Gina K Set (Poultry In Motion) for the chicken image, the sentiment is from a Tim Holtz Set.
I like how the colors came together for this card, despite using SU! DSP from 3 different collections.
Thanks for stopping by,
Hugs ~ LJ

Day 12 - 25 Cards for Christmas
Hello Hello ~
So I obviously missed a few days (oops) and I'm trying to get back on track. Today's card was made using a die set from Sizzix and the 'Home For the Holidays" Stamp TV Kit from Gina K Designs. The patterned paper is retired from SU, the Tree Embossing folder is also SU. I also the Cardinal Punch from Martha Stewart.
The below picture shows the sentiment and snowflake stamp (with coordinating die) that came with the kit. Thanks for stopping by, Hugs ~ LJ
