Good Evening!

This is a card I made for this week's Sketch Challenge over on StampTV. I picked up the Basic Grey Archaic Paper at Gina K's Store this week (along with the buttons and brads ~ I have to coordinate LOL) And came up with this for my card using Melanie's Wee-Tees set.

Recipe:
Stamps: Wee Tees (Gina K Designs)
Paper: Kiwi Kiss, Gina K Chocolate Kiss, Basic Grey Archaic
Ink: Basic Black, Old Olive
Accessories: Basic Grey Archaic Buttons & Brads, Horizontal Slot Punch, Ticket Corner Punch, 1/16" hole punch

Have a great weekend!

Sweet Wee-Tees!

Happy Friday!

I'm so excited to be a Guest Designer for Melanie's new set Wee Tees (Gina K Designs). Here is my card for today. Last weekend I was walking around the baby section (of course!) of a store at the mall, and I noticed that there is a lot of spring baby stuff with fruits on them (especially cherries!) So that's where I got the inspiration to make this card. This card could be used as a congratulations card to a new mom and dad, or even a birth announcement (think how cute the inside would be if there was a picture of a baby in a cherry or red onesie!). The sweet sentiment is from Melanie's "Have a Cookie" Set (also Gina K Designs). The onesie was stamped on Gina K 80 lb Luxury White Cardstock, and then I sponged Bashful Blue Ink over it.

I'm having SOOOOO MUCH Fun with Melanie's Wee Tee's set. I made a really cute project that Melanie is sharing on her blog today, so be sure to go over and check it out!

Have a super weekend!

Good Evening!

This week's color challenge over on StampTV was to use chocolate/brown and any other colors. So I pulled out my Gina K Chocolate Kiss Paper, some SU DSP scraps and this is what I ended up with. I used Sweetest Blessings (Gina K Designs) for the stamp set. I really like these colors together. I tend to use SU DSP from different packs on one card. I also did some piercing on the one of the panels. The image was colored in with Prismacolor Markers.

Have a great night! :)

Super Mom

Hello!

In Style Stamps is having a blog challenge for Mother's Day using one of their cute images so I decided to play along & here is what I came up with. The card base was made with the Long Rectangle Nestabilities. I colored the image in with prismacolor markers. The "Super Mom" sentiment is from the Gina K Designs set "Little Tees"

Thanks for looking! have a super evening!

Thank You Nurse

Good evening,

This is my challenge card for the 4/24 Potluck Friday Challenge over on StampTV. We were to make a card that was not square or rectangle. I wanted to make my girlfriend at work (who happens to be a nurse) a thank you card, just for being a good friend of mine. We eat lunch together and this week she started walking with me during lunches. Being a nurse, she's also saved me a *few* trips to the doctor's office with her great advice as well.

So with that, I made her this oval shaped card using Nurse Feelgood.  The nurse image was stamped on Gina K 80 lb. Luxury White with  Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored with Prismacolor Markers. I popped the image up on dimensionals. The oval card was made with the nestablities dies. Melanie has a great tutorial on how to cut shaped cards with your Nestabilities.

Have a great evening!

Monday Mojo Sketch 84

Good Evening!

Here's my card for this week's Mojo Monday sketch using Rupa's newest Gina K Designs set "Guiding Light". I love the images in this set.

I colored in the image with Prismacolor Markers. I got the lighter shading on the wood post by coloring over it a few times with the colorless blender marker. I'm still learning how to color but I think I am getting better.

Thanks for looking!

Hello, I have two Gina K Release Challenge Cards to share today (hopefully the 3rd one will come later today). The first one above is for the Yummy Recipe Challenge (#2) which was to use one pattern DP, two ribbons, and three eyelets. I also used Friday's Taylored Expressions Sketch (TECC65) and flipped it on the side. The horse stamp is another image from her new set Out West (Gina K Designs). The card base is Gina's new Chocolate Kiss Luxury Cardstock. I LOOOVE this stuff! It's so nice and sturdy for card bases!

My second card (below) is for Gina K Challenge #1 - Adorn Your Corner. I wanted to try to use two of Melanie's Gina K Sets (Wee Tees and Have A Cookie) for this card. I used Basic Grey Cupcake Paper & Basic Grey Cupcake Brads. This card originally was going to be for the recipe challenge (above) but I started pulling out more Basic Grey paper for it and could not use just one pattern.

Have a great afternoon, it's a cloudy rainy damp sunday here, so I am going to get some spring cleaning and hopefully more stamping done the rest of the day.
