Here is my take on the Weekend SKetch Challenge I used Forest Friends (SU) and Nana's Kitchen Baby Girl DCWV DP.

I gave this card to mom and dad for Easter.

Hp Hop Thursday!

Happy Thursday! You know what that means? Tomorrow is Friday! Yeah!

When my friend Joy (daiseyfreak) came to visit me last month, she brought a ton of Unity Stamps with her ~ I did not realize how cool these stamps were. I was able to stamp away and get lots of images to play with on Hip Hop Thursdays!

So this is my first Hip-Hop Thursday Unity Challenge card, which we were to make a card that could be used for any occasion. At least that was what I thought this was gonna be for, when I went back to post my challenge card on SCS, I noticed the 2nd challenge - THINK GREEN. Hello double-challenge! :)

Hope you like this card. I love the Marine Blueberry DSP (Stampin Up!) I wish I would have gotten a 2nd package before it retired, I really LOVE these colors together.

Have a super night! :)

On Safari

Good Evening!

I think spring is FINALLY here. It was sunny and in the 50's today!

Anyhow, here's a card I created this evening for this week's sketch challenge over on StampTV. I am so loving this Zoo Animals Set. These little guys are so cute!
I used some DP I got over the weekend at my LSS - DCWV Safari Chic. Totally love this stuff! :)

I'm off to make some Magic Bars for treat day @ work tomorrow! Yummy!

Have a great night! :)

Good Evening,

It's been so long since I have played with SEI's Aunt Gerti's Garden DP I thought I would pull it out tonight and make a cute little dress with the velvet DP that was in the kit. I used the dress from Rupa's Retro Boutique Set (Gina K Designs). The solid colored paper is Mellow Moss and Pink Pirouette. I made this card for a Virtual Shoe Box Swap on SCS. Basically we create the whole card (X6) except we don't assemble it or color the images. It was a lot of fun to put these together.

Have a good night!

MFT May Ambassador Challenge

Hello all, hope you are having a great Sunday. I spent the afternoon with my family including my cute little 9-week-old nice Tavi. She was cracking smiles and adorable faces most of the afternoon. Awww!

Anyhow, I thought I would share my big project for the weekend that i have been working on, which is the May Ambassador Challenge. The challenge was to find inspiration from this abstract picture that was posted over on SCS. I loved all the bright colors so decided to try to pull those into my card. I'm really pleased with how it came out! I did most of the paper piecing late last night (er, early this morning!) and then put the rest together this morning. The card uses the MFT Set "Here's The Scoop".

The full recipe can be found HERE in my SCS Gallery! Thanks for looking!

Have a super night!

Badger Hockey Riley

Happy weekend! This card was made for this weekend's Hanna Stamps Challenge, which was to use Red, White, and Black for the color combo. Being that this is one of my favorite color combos, this challenge came pretty easy for me. Hockey Riley had not seen ink yet so I decided to play with him. I also wanted to try to make a scalloped card using the long rectangle nestabilities. Melanie Muenchinger has a great tutorial on how to make card bases using nestabilities HERE. It's actually very easy to do, but I found the tutorial really helpful!

Anyhow, I stamped Hockey Riley in Memento Tuxedo Black ink, and colored the image in with Prismacolor Markers. I ran the long back panel through my Cuttlebug with the Spots & Dots A2 Embossing folder to give it a little texture. The Wisconsin Badger Ribbon is from Joann Crafts.

Have a super night! :)
