Hello Hello ~
I played with a few challenges tonight and I thought I would share what I came up with.
The Gina K Designs Monthly Mix It Challenge for this month is "My Sentiments Exactly" What it means for the challenge is to use a sentiment ONLY! No stamped image or patterned paper image is to be used at all!
I thought this would be very challenging for me - I LOVE patterned paper and using colored images on my card. Then I remembered I had Gina's "A Very Merry Christmas" set - and I saw THIS sketch from the 52 Christmas Card Throwdown and thought I would give it a try. The most challenging part was spritzing the ink on to the Gina K Luxury Heavy Weight Cardstock - took a few tries - as I tend to over spritz.
Here is the sketch, I did a traditional A2 (5.5 X 4.25) sized card instead of a square card:
thanks for stopping by! Hugs ~ LJ

Your background PP is great and I like the simplicity of this card.

I am very glad that you are playing with us at 52 Christmas Card Throwdown.
Oh my I love the way you thought about how to incorporate the two challenges together. I also like your colour choices. Thanks for playing along with us at 52CCT.
I love the sprtized background you made and that is a gorgeous sentiment you chose to use too.
