MFT April Guest DT Challenge - Shabby Chic

Hello Friends ~

I decided to give this months MFT Guest DT Challenge a try, with the "shabby chic" theme. This totally took me out of my comfort zone so it ended up being a really good challenge for me....Most all of the pieces are sponged/distressed with ink. I don't have any craft sponges so I rolled up a kleenex tissue, then wrapped another kleenex tissue around it. It worked really well!

I left the top floral panel alone as it already had a distressed look. I used a sentiment from MFT's Who's That Musical Girl, it's stamped in Basic Brown (SU!) I used Spellbinders Labels 10 and 16, and oval dies....The cocoa oval is popped up for added dimension. The flower embellishment is from Recollections. The Graphic 45 Fibers came in a MFT VIP Kit. I really love how this turned out.....

Thanks for stopping by today......

Hugs ~ LJ
