The Darlings Are At the Movies~

Hello,

It's time for this month's duel between the Darlings and Divas, and this month we are out checking out the latest (or classic) flicks out on the big screen. This month's hostess is Joan.....and she went totally vintage old school with her kit! I was so supah excited when I saw the patterned paper, the neutral embellishments and the stamps she she put together in this kit.....Just totally ROCKS the world. Please accept my little apology for getting mine off a little late....The movie camera hasn't been taking the best shots this week ;) I needed a few more takes....LOL!

Anyhow, like I said I am in love with this kit....Joan chose to include some paper from the Graphic45 Curtain Call Collection ~ and when I saw Charlie I had to use him as a focal point for my card.....I took film theory in high school (some 20 years ago) and one of the movies we watched and critiqued was "Gold Rush". I still remember the scene where Charlie was eating his shoes.....Too FUNNY! His little antics during that movie just crack me up still. :) So yea, I totally LOVE old movies! (Never saw that coming did you???). The sentiment is from Hampton Arts.

As part of this month's challenge, Joan is asking us to list our favorite movies of all time. I'm not sure I could just narrow down my list to the favorite five....and these are not in any particular order ;) I'm just not a ranking kind of movie critic....LOL! If you are into a good baseball movie, I'd highly recommend the first one, it's a little obscure, but one of the best movies ~ and it's black and white!

I hope you enjoyed my post for today, Please check out the other Darling Diva's as well ~ to see what flavor of popcorn they have in the microwave for their movies!

Judy is next on the list

Barb
Laura Jean (me)
Kelly
Joan (our hostess)

and now for the DUEL! Please start here, at Jeanette's blog!

Thanks for stopping by ~ and remember, no person is a failure who has friends!

Hugs ~ LJ
