Hippy, Hoppy and Very Happy!

Lookie at all these smiling cute animals! I did this for an inspiration challenge on SCS, the theme was to create a zoofari, well, I think this card accomplishes that much at least. I did not want to embellish much because of all the coloring/images. The pink hippo is popped up on dimensional. I did some masking, stamped the images with brown stazon ink, and colored them in with Watercolor Wonder Crayons and a SU Blender Pen.

I was going to take a peek at the SCS sketch, but I can't get on to SCS right now so I guess I'll do it tomorrow! Have a super night!

WSC45 - Love Always

Here is my creation for Beate's Weekend Sketch Challenge. I pulled out one of SU's retired scrapping kits for it. The colors are Blush Blossom & Mellow Moss. I used Moss gingham ribbon and silver brads for accents, the flower stamp is from True Friend which I just got as my SAB Incentive Set. I have had my eyes on this set for so long, but never really pictured a soft card with it until I did this card tonight. Thanks for looking!

Tea for two...

Happy Saturday!
I finally pulled out "Thinking of You" Designed by Rupa Shevde for Gina K Designs. I love this cute little table and chairs. It's perfect for a girly card. The coloring was done with SU WWC and Blender Pen . I used one of my most infrequently used colors for this card (Sage Shadow). The pattern paper is retired from SU (Tickles I think). I'm off to stamp some more, I want to do the SCS weekly Sketch Challenge and Beate's Sketch Challenge today. See ya later!

Awsome Anna

Thought I would post one more card I made tonight before heading off to bed. The main image is "Anna" from the Gina K Kindred Spirits collection. This one got me out of my normal stamping funk, I normally don't do a lot of purple. But the image led itself to a "girly" card and I liked how it turned out.
Recipe:
Stamps: Anna (Kindred Spirits) Tag You're It (both Gina K)
CS: Lovely Lilac, Regal Rose, Whisper White, Pretty In Pink, SU DSP
Ink: Lovely Lilack, Regal Rose, Pretty In Pink, Black Stazon
Access; Circle Punches, Prismacolor Pencils, Gina K Odorless Mineral Spirits, Dimensionals, Fairytale Ribbon Originals,

WSC44 - simple flower

here is my card for Beate's weekend sketch challenge (#44) I wanted to keep the image simple, because of all the "business going on with the background paper. I also used a oval for the image instead of the rectangle. I like this design but the card came together a little tough for me because I am terrible at measurements. The Flower is from Gina K's How Sweet It Is (can you tell i lOVE this set???), I colored in the flower with my Prismacolors & used Gina K Odorless Mineral Spirits to Color the image in. I'm still a novice with the water-coloring, but I think with practice I will get better.  Thanks for looking!

SC172 Sweet Birthday

Good evening,
Well, I got the SCS weekly sketch challenge done, only a day after it was posted. remarkable for me. This one came together pretty easy. I used Gina K's "How Sweet It Is" Set, for both the image and sentiment. I really like this sketch because you can use a lot of pattern paper with it! I'm a pattern paper geek! I'm also showing off one of my new "toys" here, my prismacolor pencils, which I got on vacation in Arizona last month, and Gina K's Odorless Mineral Spirits. They are so easy to use together. I'm kicking myself for not getting them sooner!

Stamps: Gina K How Sweet It Is
Paper: Retired SU DSP, Whisper White, Gray, Perfect Plum, Pretty in PInk,
Ink: Black Stazon, Perfect Plum
Access: Pink ribbon (retired SU), Brads (JoAnn's), Odorless Mineral Spirits, Prismacolor Pencils, Hole punch,

No card tonight....

Good evening everyone,
Didn't get much stamping done tonight other than
finishing up the Flap Fold cards I posted yesterday.
I started another swap but the cards are not done
yet so I will have to wait until tomorrow to post
them. We are getting some much needed rain here
in Wisconsin. But not sure we need this much!
Have a good night!
