TMS #502 - Out of This World

HELLO HELLO

It's tuesday so we have another fun Tuesday Morning Sketch to play with this week. We are on Sketch #503. I have a monthly swap due on the 10th - and our theme is May the 4th. So I pulled out my Out of This World set from Lawn Fawn for it. I made 6 of these. I think they turned out super cute. 

I also used patterned paper from The Paper Studio (Hobby Lobby) Star gems from Tim Holtz, and Silver Ribbon from Stampin Up. I colored the four images with my Stampin Up Blend Markers, cut them with my Scan-N-Cut 2, then popped them up on dimensionals. I do have the coordinating dies, but when making multiples of the same card the SNC2 is totally the way to go!

Challenge Your Stash - Up Up and Away!

Quick share tonight of a card I made for a Challenge Your Stash challenge group on Splitcoast Stampers. The focus of this challenge is to create a card using a certain theme (picked out by someone in the group) using only supplies from your current stash (no shopping is allowed)

Our challenge this month was to use the color orange and a button. I knew I wanted to pull out my World Fair 8X8 pad from Graphic 45. I love the darker oranges in this collection. The stamp and sentiment is from a retired MFT set - Up Up & Away.

TMS #500 is here!!!

Hello!  Thank you for celebrating with us at Tuesday Morning Sketches. This is our 500th sketch challenge and it is quite a milestone!  We're so excited about this accomplishment that we decided to have a blog hop.  Be sure to start (and end) with Tuesday Morning Sketches blog.

I'm LJ and I've been on the Tuesday Morning Sketches team for about 4 months. So I am one of the Design Team "newbies" but I have been a TMS follower and participant since the early days! I'm so happy to be here playing along with TMS #500!   Our sketch this week is a little challenging at first glance, but really it's super easy and open to so much possibility with stamps, dies and borders.  Here's my card and it features a beautiful floral set from Pink & Main. I actually won this set from a TMS Challenge a few months before I joined the DT! So I think it's so fitting I was able to use this set for Sketch #500 by just flipping the sketch!

The prize I am offering is....a border die and a Sack It Crab die from Taylored Expressions!

TMS #499 - Celebrate

Welcome to Tuesday Morning Sketches #499  - which means #500 is right around the corner! Yay! We have some special things up our sleeves for Sketch #500 for you, but until then we have a lovely sketch from Melissa for Sketch #499. I chose to make a bright and cheery spring card using some flower images and dies from Gina K Designs! The sentiment is from a retired Stampin Up Set. Patterned paper is from October Afternoon.

Monthly Duel - Out of This world!

Hello Hello! 

It's the 15th of the month so it's time to have another Dueling Darlings Duel! Terry S is the hostess of the Dazzlers and I am the hostess of the Divas this month! We chose a theme of "Out of this World". 

I sent the Divas the following kit contents and I can't wait to see what they make: 

Stamps: Rocket Age (October Afternoon)
Patterned Paper: Doodle Bug Designs

Accessories: Red, Blue, Yellow Ribbon, silver stars (Tim Holtz), gemstones (Michaels), buttons (stampin up) 

I decorated the inside of my card too (sorry for the shadows)
