MFTWSC400

Hello Hello -

Quick share tonight - I made this card for the current My Favorite Things Sketch Challenge (#400).
I used the MFT Birdie Brown Set Puddle Jumper . I colored the image in with prismacolor pencils and gamsol.

This set seemed all to appropriate for our Labor Day Weekend weather.  We have gotten way to much rain in this area the last 3-4 weeks. So maybe by using this cute guy mother nature will bring us some much needed sunshine and dry days soon! Here is the sketch:

Wine Gets Better With Age

Hello Hello

It's the 15th of the month and this week we have a wine-themed duel between the Divas and Darlings. The Dueling Darlings are a group of friends from SCS that swap cards and beyond and formed a new group called the Dueling Darlings! Divided into Group A and B, which wasn't a cool name so we are now the Divas and the Dazzlers, have a montly rotating hostess kit that goes out to make cards! The Divas have one card kit to work with, while the Dazzlers have another! It's fun to see what we "duel" up in cardstock, papers and wonderful images!

I am a Diva - and this month's hostess is Tami. She sent some images from Artistic Impressions.

I die-cut the image on my scan-n-cut 2, then colored it in with prismacolor pencils and gamsol. I'm really pleased how this one turned out! Can't wait to see what the others created too!

Winter Robins

Hello hello

Haven't been able to craft much due to work training, but now that I am home (for at least 4 weeks) I'll be getting caught up on some crafty-business.

I made the above card from a card kit I received from a member (Shelly) of the Crazy 4 Christmas Group. Every other month we send a kit to a designated partner. Our July month is our "Christmas in July Celebration" where we send our partner a full kit (usually it's just images and patterned paper) Shelly sent me SO many embellishments, there was no way I could use them all on this one card!

The image is from PSX (Winter Robins) and is colored with SU! Watercolor Crayons and SU! Blender pen.

I would like to enter this card in the below challenges:

MFT SKETCH 394

Hello Hello

Been busy lately but today I had some time to play with this week's MFT Sketch Challenge

I used MFT's Too Cute Turtles and coordinating die-namics on my card. The images are colored in with prismacolor pencils and Gamsol. Last fall I found the 150 Ct. Prismacolor Pencils for $60 on Amazon. Best Purchase Ever! :-) I love having all of the colors for coloring.

The sketch is below:

I Bee-Lieve in You!

Hello Hello!

Time again for another duel between the divas and darlings. We have a bee-theme to play with this month - courtesy of our fab hostesses - Terry A (Dazzler) and Terry S (Diva) since I am a Diva (wink!) I received a BEE-utiful kit from Terry S. :)

I chose to use the image she sent us from CC Designs (there is another image in the kit - may play with that later tonight). And of course, there were some wonderful bee-inspired papers, ribbons, and embee-lishments to play with! Of course I had to use my new SNC2 to die cut the image! The sentiment is from MFT.

MFTWSC90 - Thanks Friend

Hello Hello

I'm playing along with this week's My Favorite Things (MFT) Sketch Challenge! My card is fairly simple. From start to finish I think it took me about 10 minutes (YES! only TEN minutes!)  I used the adorable set Too Cute Turtles for the bird and butterfly image & the sentiment is from a retired MFT Pure Innocence set. I also used the MFT Die-Namics Stitched Frames  Those were die-cut with white and then were sponged with Tim Holtz Distress Oxide Ink. Below is the sketch:
