Card Kit Swap - Santa Angel

Hello - Hello

Trying to catch up on some card kit challenge cards - I received all of my kits in June. Today's card kit is the one I received from Barb. It had an assortment of adorable Whipper Snapper images to choose from, I used Santa Angel for my card &the patterned paper is from Theresa Collins (Santa's List Collection). I totally LOVE this christmas paper.

My card is being entered into the Sugar Pea Designs Sketch Challenge

Dueling Darlings Challenge

Hello Hello

Today I am sharing my card for this month's Dueling Darlings challenge. Carol and Melina are the hostesses for the divas and dazzlers.

The theme for this month is "Friends are the Family We Choose for Ourselves. The Divas and Darlings have been together as friends and challenge buddies for the last four years - so we are celebrating our beautiful friendships with each other!

Carol's package this month was full of purple! :) So I had to go out of my "comfort zone". I chose to use just a sentiment on this card, as I thought the sentiment was so perfect in defining our friendships :)

Thanks so much for stopping by! Hugs ~ LJ

DD June 2014 - In the Garden

Hello Hello ~

Stopping by quick with this month's Dueling Divas/Darlings Card Challenge. This month's kit is from Tami and she sent Gardening Riley for our In the Garden theme. :) I love the warm colors.

I am not much of a gardener - so I don't have any tips to share. :( Sorry. I honestly do not know much about gardening, except that Peony bushes need to be trimmed every spring (I trimmed them at my parents place a couple of months ago - ha!)

2014 SCS Kit Swap #2

Hello Hello ~

Today I have another SCS Card Kit Swap Card (say that 5 times really fast!) to share. Kit #2 comes from Pansy, and she sent me a fun western-themed kit to play with! I didn't get to use everything she sent as there was so much in the kit! I love the ribbon and charms she sent.

Here is the inside of the card (the sentiment just cracks me up!)

2014 SCS Kit Swap #1

Hello ~ Hello

Today I have a card to share from my card kit swap over on SCS hosted by Jeanette (Forest Ranger). This is kind of like a round robin swap. Below is a short explanation of the what the swap entails:

• There are 11 of us in the group (myself included)
• Each month, we send a card kit to the person designated for that month (my month is May - so I receive kits from the other 10 in the group during May, and each of the other months, I send one kit out to whatever has that particular month)
• The recipient of the kits uses the contents of each card kit to create at least one project and post it to their blog and/or SCS Gallery.

Since May is my month, I have been receiving a lot of fun kits in the mail! :) This card was created from the very first card kit (I am trying to do them in order)  I received - from Tami - including some really cute cupcake images from Studio G Stamps! Thanks Tami!
