More Gina K Challenges

Good Evening!

This is the 2nd Challenge Card I created for the June Gina K Designs Release. The challenge was to make a one-layer cards. I'm usually intimidated by one-layer cards because I am one of those people that likes to use lots of layers. But I had this idea using Melanie's A Year of Flowers Set (Gina K) and went with it. I first stamped the 3rd flower (from the left) on the white card (120 lb Gina K Luxury White - which is perfect for one layer cards). I then stamped the same image again on a post-it note to create my "mask" so I could stamp the other flowers with out overlapping the original image. The ribbon is a new color from SU, Soft Suede.

Challenges...

Hello!

Gina K had a fantastic monthly release Thursday. I was so determined to hold out this month and not get any new stamps, because I'm going to a big Shoebox Swap in Columbus, OH at the end of this month, but I couldn't resist getting two sets, and 100% Sweet is one of them! I made this card for one of the Release Challenges, which was to use Pink and Brown. I had to use my Basic Grey Bittersweet DP for this card!

Thanks for looking!

Tavi's Getting Her Own Room!

Hello!

Here is a 12X12 project I made for Tavi's (my niece) room! She's getting her own bedroom next month! (yay!)
The 12x12 DP is from SU (Tall Tales). I had two sheets of it, so I cut out the hot air balloons and Trees and popped them up on dimensionals. I added SU Corduroy Brads and Basic Grey Buttons (Archaic) to the flowers. Tavi's name was done on a Cricut and was RAK'd to me by my friend Michele (thanks!)

MFT Sketch

Hello! Here is a card I made for last week's MFT Sketch Challenge over on SCS. I used "How Sweet Is" for the stamp set. The DP is brand new from Stampin Up, and it's called Tall Tales. I colored in the image with Prismacolor Markers.

For Dad...

Hello ~

I've got two cards tonight to share using the same sketch over on StampTV. Here is the first one (see below post for the 2nd card). I made this card for my Dad for Father's Day. I used King of The Grill, one of Rupa's Gina K Designs Sets. I love this set. There are so many great images in this set for guy cards! :) The brown cardstock is a new SU Color called Soft Suede. I really love the new SU In-Colors, but I have to admit, I am going to really miss Baja Breeze and Pacific Point. The DP is from a SU Prints Stack. I colored in the image with SU ink pads and SU Aquapainter,

Be sure to check out my other card below too!

Party On!

Here is the 2nd card I made using last Thursday's Sketch over on StampTV. I made a "six-pack" of these for my friend Cheryl's Beachy swap over on SCS. I used Gina K's Just Be Claws set for this swap. The DP is from the Basic Grey Cupcake Collection.

Have a great night!

Hanna Guest DT Calll - TECC72

Here is the first card I made today for the Hanna Guest Designer Call over on SCS. For this card I used Train Riley. I won him at the Hanna Stamps Release Party when he was released! :) I colored in Riley this time with my Prismacolor Markers. The DP is from SU - Retired Jersey Shore. It's one of my faves! It's so bright and cheery, and perfect for kids cards, and perfect for this sketch which I found over on the Taylored Expressions Blog. I flipped the sketch on this one (the original sketch is landscape)

Have a great night!
