Recycling in the Forest

Good Evening ~

Today's post is for Jeanette's Forest Swap on SCS......the challenge of this swap was to use something recycled on my card....My recycled item is the tan/brown fiber at the bottom of the card, which was originally from an Urban Outfitters Bag from a pre--christmas purchase......They were bag handles....

For this card swap (which I made six of) I used Cheers Riley from Riley & Company. Isn't he a cutie? The pattern paper I used is from "3 Bugs and a Rug" ~ it's their "The Great Outdoors" collection. Super cute stuff, actually I think this is the stuff I purchased for the last Forest swap (yes there have been multiple Forest Swaps!) and couldn't find it when it came time to create the cards. :) So here it is now. Kind of happy I "saved" it how about you?

Hope you liked my card tonight ~ thanks as always for stopping by. I think I am going to spend the rest of my evening organizing my ribbon bins (something I need to do every so often....) maybe I can find something else in there I can recycle on another card.......

Have a great evening ~

Hugs ~ LJ

LJ, this card is such a fun one... love the paper.WOW! I'm glad you found it. It would have been a shame to not use it on this card. Love Riley's, too... such a fun little moose. How creative to use bag handles for your recycled item. Amazing job!!! And I get one!!!!!! Woo Hoo!!!
