Classy Card Ladies!

Hello Hello

Welcome to the inaugural Classy Card Ladies Card Kit Challenge! You may remember that I used be in the Dueling Divas Group Card Kit Challenge - that group went on for TEN years! Crazy! As times change, so do we (kind of)! We decided to turn a new leaf for 2020 and start fresh with a new challenge group. We lost a few members (they are fine - just not crafting with us anymore) but the rest of us are still here & ready to go. For our new group we have the Diamonds and the Pearls! I am a Diamond with Barb, Carol, Kelly, and Suzy. The Pearls are Darlene, Deb, Jeanette, Shelly and Tracie.

This month's kit to kick it off comes form Kelly! I had so much fun with these cute animals making snow angels! The stamps are from Gerda Steiner Designs & the set name is Snow Angel. Kelly also sent some fantastic patterned paper, and some glistening embellishments!

I can't wait to see what the other Classy Card Ladies have created this month!

Terry's Monthly Swap - Use Your Words

Hello Hello

It\s me again ~ posting two days in a row. 😀

This a card I created for Terry's monthly swap. I made 6 of these. The stamps are from Gina K Designs. I think most of the stamps I used are about to retire or are on her retiring list. Any way the theme is use your words, the words need to be a focal point. This Hello stamp is one of my favorites. I stamped it along with the butterfly in Plum Punch & the leaves and smaller sentiment are stamped in Fresh Asparagus.

UIS Swap 53

Hello Hello -

Dusting off the ole craft blog. Hoping to be posting again more frequently in 2021. :)

These are all the cards received from UIS Swap #53 on Splitcoast stampers. I sent the swapers each 6 of the above images. They made 4 cards each and sent them to me. I swapped them all back out once they were all received. I was amazed at how many different drink colors there were! The image is a Tim Holtz BluePrint.

The next round Terry is hostessing. So I will be making 4 cards and sending those to her to swap out. So much Fun!

TMS #548 - What She Said

Hello Hello!

It's time for another Tuesday Morning Sketch Challenge. I have to admit, I am a little more excited than usual this week for our Sketch, as it's; one I designed! I was creating a card for a friend to mail to her and It just ended up being a sketch with a couple of banners and lots of random circles. It's a great sketch for scraps! and also buttons, which I didn't even use on my card.

Anyway, I used Big Grumpy from Taylored Expressions. Such a cute guy, even though he looks pretty grumpy!

And here's the sketch if you would like to play along:

TMS #547 - My Friend

Hello Hello

Welcome to Tuesday Morning Sketches #547. Our sketch this week comes from Melissa!

I used a new (to me) Taylored Expressions set called Rosy Posy. The floral image is two steps, stamping the line image first and then stamping the solid image over it. I used my Misti tool to line them up. I then fussy cut the flowers out. The patterned paper is from Paper Trey Ink. I added some SU bling to finish the card. The sentiment makes me think of the TV Series Golden Girls. When I see that sentiment I want to start singing the theme song from the show. Ha ha.

Here is this week's sketch If you would like to try it out.
