A Note of Thanks

Hello ~ Hello

Been a few days since I have been here, I have been soaking up the warm Florida sun at DisneyWorld. It was a wonderful vacation but I am refreshed and ready to go back to the daily grind :)

My card for today is for no particular challenge. I created it before I left for Florida, but never got around to posting it until now. I used "Who's that Musical Girl" from My Favorite Things (MFT) this time. my papers are from Echo Park (Yours Truly)  and I paper pieced the main image. I used some spica glitter pens on the keyboard keys & a little bit on the piano bench. The Ribbon is from Gina K Designs & I also used my newest MFT die-namic - Jumbo Monarch Border.

Below is the inside of my card, which I kept pretty simple:

Hello ~ Hello

Wanted to do a quick post tonight and share my card for this week's MFT Sketch. I just love this cute Pure Innocence image - Jump For Joy. She's super cute and easy to paper-piece. I used some older SU! SAB patterned paper. The flower got a little "out-of-hand" ~ I used some ruffled gingham ribbon and Glubers from OA' to create the flower. The Brads are from American Crafts and the button is from Basic Grey. Here's a look at the inside of my card:

And here's this week's sketch:

Happy Birthday Tavi!

Today is Tavi Pearl's 3rd Birthday.....Woo-Hoo! This is the card I made for her which I gave to her Saturday at her Birthday party. We had such a fun time! All supplies except card stock are from October Afternoon. Their flower sacks are so much fun!

It's hard to believe this little blessing in my life is THREE years old already ~ where does the time go? .....I still remember the very day she was born:

Her first birthday.......

Her second birthday (this taken the morning of)

And every little moment in between......

Thank you for going down memory lane with me today......... Hugs ~ LJ

MFTWSC56

I sooo love this week's MFT Sketch! It's posted on Wednesdays in SCS, and although I had planned to go bed early Wednesday night, I could not resist staying up and creating my card for the challenge!

For my card I used the adorable Violin Girl Pure Innocence image, which is from the January VIP Kit. I think she's so darn cute. I colored her in with my markers and fussy-cut her out. She's layered on a Dolly Die-namic Duo (I used the larger one in the set). The sentiment is from a previous MFT VIP Kit and was stamped on white card stock (I cut the tag out of card stock) I also used some pop-dots to give the card some dimension, as I did not use any embellishments this time. The patterned paper is from Crate Paper Co. (not sure of the collection ~ my mom shared some of her 6X6 pad with me)

This week's sketch is below, thanks for stopping by! Hugs ~ LJ

MFTWSC55 - {Spread Your Wings}

Hello ~ Hello

Here is a card I have been working on this weekend for MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge #55. I used the spunky cute "You Give Me Wings" Pure Innocence set. I just love this lil' girl's curly hair. She was stamped in memento tuxedo black on PTI White, colored and fussy-cut. The patterned paper is from SU! (Rainbow Sherbet - Retired). I also used Gable Green and Apricot Appeal card-stock. The ribbon is from AMuse & the sentiment is stamped in Tempting Turquoise.

St Patty's Tags

Hello ~ Hello!

I had a ton of fun making these cute tags for Jen's Get Lucky Swap over on SCS! I used the adorable 4-leaf Clover Pure Innocence image and sentiment. The Tags were cut out with a spellbinders die using PTI Craft Card-Stock (my favorite color right now, I am going through it like crazy right now!)
The Green ribbon and twine is from SU!, The PI image was colored in with prismacolor/copic markers   & sentiment was stamped in Handsome Hunter. I also used some eyelets with the ribbon.

Thanks for stopping by today ~ Hugs ~ LJ
