Warm and Cozy

Hello, hope you are having a good weekend. I made this card for one of Gina K's December Release Party challenges. This is for the sketch challenge that Erika (AKA SunshineMama on SCS) posted.  I decided to pull out Warm & Cozy Christmas for this one. The image is colored with Prismacolor Markers.

Hi all, 

A late post tonight, this is a card I made for Melanie's Pre-Gina K Release Party Challenge on Paper Craft Planet. Melanie's challenge was to create a card inspired by a special moment or event in your life. This card is a result of one of my many memories I have of my Grandma Rust, who loved to sing Edelweiss. It was one of her favorite songs (if not her favorite) even now, when I hear the song somewhere I can't help but think of her. The stamp set is "A Year of Flowers" which is one of the sets Melanie designed for Gina K Designs. I did the verse on my computer and printed it out on my printer. the DSP is all from SU. The silver flowers also remind me of my grandma, in her later years she wore a lot of jewelry. Once she got in the nursing home, she started wearing jewelry (sometimes 4 or 5 bracelets at a time) I think she wanted to look like the prettiest resident in the facility (which we thought she always did anyways!)

Hello! Totally forgot I had this set "Polar Pals" stashed away until I saw today's challenge on Paper Craft Planet. I thought "I can do Nine Ladies!" So here they all are....I love this set used with these colors (Baja Breeze and Pacific Point). The card size is 4.75" square.

8th Day of Christmas - Paper Craft Planet

Another card for the Paper Craft Planet 12 Days of Christmas Challenge. Today was "Eight Maids A Milking" & we were supposed to use cows or girls. So I picked out this cute cow from "down on the farm" by Gina K. Designs. Hope you enjoy! I am going to try to post the 9th day late tomorrow-morning. I'm going to Milwaukee this weekend for the Badger-Marquette Basketball game :) Can't wait!

Paper Craft Planet - 7th Day Of Christmas

Black and White, seems easy? I love colors, so this was a challenge for me. I would use this for a wedding card (no weddings in the immediate future though!) Could also use it for an anniversary card....

On the Fourth Day of Christmas

This is for the today's challenge on Paper Craft Planet (Four Calling Birds) I took the calling part and made a card using the Telephone image from Rupa's "Thinking of You from Gina K Designs". I still love these colors together (Wild Wasabi, Soft Sky, and White).
