I needed a cheer-me up card today, but this is what I had planned. It's a little muted/dull for colors but it will work for today. Guess I'll come up with a brighter card tomorrow. :) Once again, I'm using the new Friendly Flowers Set from SU. the inner flower took quite awhile to cut. I used my SU markers to color the stamp before stamping on to Whisper White. The tab was made with the SU tab punch, and the "friend" stamp is from Fundamental Phrases. I think I need to keep both of these sets on my desk where I can reach them! TFL!

Beate's Weekend Sketch Challenge #35
This is my card for Beate's weekend sketch challenge (#35). I love this sketch. This is actually the 2nd card I created for this sketch (I'll share the first one I did later) Aren't the colors just yummy? This is more of a fall card, but I love this SU DSP. It's so bright & cheery. I used the Friendly Flowers Set which is in the new SU Occasions Mini. This is quickly becoming one of my favorite sets. This is also the first card I have used the Flower Fusion flowers on. I hope they come out with more colors soon! Recipe:

Ink: Pumpkin Pie, Tempting Turquoise, Choc Chip,

I'm A Little Lazy This Week
Sorry I haven't posted much this week! I hope to have some stamping to post tomorrow for sure! I have not done a lot of stamping this week other than working on my swaps. Trying to get all caught up before I head to Arizona next month for Spring Training!
Talk to you tomorrow! Hugs!

Challenge #2 - Gina K
Here is the 2nd challenge, which was alter any item. The stamps are Gina K (How Sweet It Is), This is a little tin I altered. It's big enough to fit a gift card in it. The little "Bling" is SU Rhinestone Brads. The Ribbon and DSP is retired from the 2006-2007 Winter Mini. I still LOVE this DSP! I colored in the image with WWC and my Blender Pens.
This is such a cute set. It's my mom's but I had to borrow it. :) I don't think she is going to see it for awhile! hee!
Gina K Card Challenge
Gina K Designs had a release party last night (see shopping link for the cute new sets!!) and there were a couple challenges which I participated in. This is the first challenge which was to apply a sketch to the challenge. So this is what I came up with tonight (after a long day of work ~ LOL!) The stamps are Gina K Just B-Claws. Everything else is SU. I made the scallops around the circle with a 1" circle punch. Other than that it was pretty easy!

Bringing Back an Old Favorite
Well, I'm still not over the fact that SU retired the Bodacious Bouquet Set. It's still one of my favorite sets. I just signed up for a "I can't live without this set" swap, and this will probably be the stamp set I use. I thought this would be a cheery card to post today, since it is -4 here. (wind makes it feel like -26!) Get out the flannel jeans (yea for those of you down south we do have flannel lined jeans up here and they are absolutely comfy!
Anyways, back to the card. I got the layout from SCS except I turned it to the long ways. The teal flower is popped up with dimensionals. I also used my Fundamental Phrases set on the card.
