TMS #519

Hello Hello!

Welcome to this week's Tuesday Morning Sketch Challenge! Debbie has this week's sketch! I always love sketches that have a big spot in the middle as it provides a lot of different possibilities, a colored image, a sentiment, die-cuts or other things. I chose to use a sentiment from the SU Set Rooted in Nature. The leaves are from the Rooted in Nature Dies and the flower is a retired SU Punch. I used patterned paper from Basic Grey.

Here is this week's sketch if you would like to join us!

TMS #518 - Merry Christmoose!

Hello Hello!

Welcome to this week's Tuesday Morning Sketch Challenge! I am back after being on vacation for most of the last two weeks! It was really nice to get away (out to the east coast) but I am glad to be home!

For this week's sketch I decided to add yet another Christmas Card to my stash using this cute Christmas Moose from Riley and Company. I colored Riley in with my Stampin Blend Markers. The sentiment is from a retired set from My Favorite Things. Patterned paper is from October Afternoon.

Here is this week's sketch if you would like to join us!

Hello Hello!

Today we have another fun Tuesday Morning Sketch Challenge to play with!  This week's sketch was created by Melissa ~ super easy sketch this week!

I kept my card simple this week, using flower dies from Tim Holtz, a sentiment from the same set I used last week (Rooted In Nature- from SU). TMS #513 - Thinking of You

Hello Hello!

Today we have another fun Tuesday Morning Sketch Challenge to play with!  Debbie is the creator of this week's sketch.

I decided to pull out my new "Rooted in Nature" set from Stampin Up that I got with my hostess benefits.  I used patterned paper from Basic Grey (Origins 6X6) pad, and two ink colors - Vintage Photo and Mowed Lawn (Tim Holtz Distress Inks). I fussy cut the leaves as I am still waiting for my coordinating dies to come (hopefully soon!). I also sponged the sentiment panel with the Mowed Lawn Ink, and added some twine and yellow enamel dots in the upper right hand corner.

Here is the sketch if you would like to try it out:

GKD Monthly Mix Challenge - Flag Your'e It!

Hello Hello -

Quick post today, I decided to play along with the Gina K Designs Monthly Mix Challenge with is called "Flag Your'e It". The challenge was to use colors seen in a flag (any flag of your choice) I of course went with our USA flag - used Red, White and Blue.

For my card I pulled out an old set - Fun Year Round designed by Melanie Munchinger. The sentiment is from a newer set -  Tropical Blooms. I've used this set a lot, I got it when it was part of a StampTV kit.

TMS #512 - Deck The Halls

Hello Hello ~

It's time for this week's sketch at Tuesday Morning Sketches

I am continuing my Christmas in July theme with a card I created from our Dueling Darlings kit that I received this month from Suzy (my Dazzler's teammate). The Divas received a Christmas in July kit from Deb! It will be fun to see whate everyone creates. The Dueling Darlings is a group of myself and 15 wonderful ladies on Split Coast Stampers. Each month, a hostess sends a card kit to the other 7 ladies in her group. On the 15th we have a "Duel" of sorts. I am a day late - as I wanted to use the kit for this week's TMS sketch as the image fit the sketch perfectly (It was made to be I tell ya!).

I had fun with this week’s sketch and I hope you try it out! The rest of the DT has some great inspiration to check out too!

TMS #511 - HAPPY 10TH BIRTHDAY Tuesday Morning Sketches

Hello Hello -

I'm here with another Tuesday Morning Sketch Challenge - and this one is a big one as we are celebrating:
Happy 10th Birthday Tuesday Morning Sketches!

It's so AMAZING to see a sketch challenge blog last this long! It does not happen very often! That being said, here is my card for this week's challenge, I'm adding another card to my Christmas card stash (many of which go to my local Ronald McDonald House). My card has mostly supplies from October Afternoon, with the exception of the ribbon (Stampin Up), Silver snowflake (Stampin Up) and gemstones (Hobby Lobby).

This sketch is a fun one too!

Hope you will decide to play along! In addition to our fantastic DT Inspiration, we also have two special guests - Joni Wilson and Sheri Gilson. I know Joni back from my days of being on her Inktegrity Designs Design Team, and Sheri is well known for her fantastic creations as a member of the Gina K Designs DT! I'm so excited they could both play along with us this week!

"Boo" in June

Hello Hello -

It's the 15th of June already! I'm starting to wonder when summer will arrive here in south-central Wisconsin has I have not needed to use my AC yet (not that I am complaining about that part).

Anyway - it's time for our monthly Duel between the Divas and Dazzlers. I am on the Dazzler team and Tami is the hostess, she sent a fun Halloween in June card kit to play with. The Diva hostess this month is Terry L and she sent the Divas a different kit with the same theme! It will be fun to see what everyone comes up with.

Tami sent us images from Delightfully Spooky from Red Rubber Designs. The rest of the supplies are "from her stash" although I am 99% positive the background patterned paper I used is from Basic Grey. I colored the image with my Stampin Blends, then cut it out with a rectangle die, and sponged the sides with orange ink. I used my MFT Banner Die-Namics to die-cut the banner die. The orange corners started as a single 1" sticky dot that I cut into fourths and added one to each corner.

Here is the inside of my card, where I used the rest of the patterned paper that appears on the front of the card, and matted the sentiment on black card-stock

Thanks so much for stopping by! Hugs ~ LJ

Hello Hello!

Welcome to Tuesday Morning Sketch Challenge#504! This week Melissa has a really fun and unique sketch to play with! I have not really seen a sketch like this before so it was a good challenge for me!

Most of the supplies on my card are retired from Stampin Up. The patterned paper is form last year's occasions catalog. The twine was a door prize I won at Camp Stamp In Oga. The enamel dots are from Paper Studio (Hobby Lobby brand - I love these!) The stitched square frame is from My Favorite Things and the Wavy Stitched border is a Lawn Fawn Die.

Cheers!

Hello Hello

I had a little extra time this morning so I decided to try the latest Monday Simon Says Stamp Challenge which is  "Cheers". I haven't played with my Tim Holtz Cocktails Blueprints set yet - so this was the perfect challenge for it.

I colored the image with Stampin Blends then added a few layers of Clear Embossing Powder:

The sentiment is from a retired Stampin Up set.

TMS #502 - Out of This World

HELLO HELLO

It's tuesday so we have another fun Tuesday Morning Sketch to play with this week. We are on Sketch #503. I have a monthly swap due on the 10th - and our theme is May the 4th. So I pulled out my Out of This World set from Lawn Fawn for it. I made 6 of these. I think they turned out super cute.

I also used patterned paper from The Paper Studio (Hobby Lobby) Star gems from Tim Holtz, and Silver Ribbon from Stampin Up. I colored the four images with my Stampin Up Blend Markers, cut them with my Scan-N-Cut 2, then popped them up on dimensionals. I do have the coordinating dies, but when making multiples of the same card the SNC2 is totally the way to go!

Here is the sketch if you would like to play along!
