Hello Hello
It's time to duel again between the Divas and Darlings. Tracie and Barb have chosen the theme of ROSES as June is Rose Month. Barb sent the Divas two different images to choose from, I chose the simpler image from Hero Arts called Delicate Rose Stems. I colored it with prismacolor pencils and Gamsol. The patterned paper is from Stampin Up' (Sweet Sorbet) and I used my own sentiment from another SU! set I have in my collection.
I love this theme. Roses remind me of my Grandma's/Aunts house that I used to live at where we had an abundance of Rose Bushes in the front of the house every year. I went back into my photo collection and found this pretty bloomer
And these are from later in the same year:
Thanks for stopping by! Hugs ~ LJ

Beautiful roses., both in your photo and your card!
LJ, your card is beautiful.... and I love the photos of the real roses. I'm sure they smell heavenly!
Sweet card LJ--love the soft colors of the roses!
I am behind a duel, so I need to catch up on comments! Sorry this is late, but beautiful card. :D
Those roses are so pretty from the garden! I like how you used the oval die cut for the image. The colors look great and am glad they invoked such pretty floral memories for you.
