It's the 15th of the Month, which means it's time for another duel between the Darlings and Divas. Tami is our hostess for the Divas - and we have a fun "May Flowers" kit to play with this month. The Image is from Red Rubber Designs - she's sooo cute just sitting there with her flowers :) The kit contained papers from Cosmo Cricket, dry embossed papers in green and red, as well as the embellishments you see on the card. :)
I used this week's MOJO Monday Sketch for my card. It fit the image and card kit contents to a "T". :)
I don't plant any flowers yearly, since I am a renter, but I usually have a basket or two on my front porch steps :) I am not what you would call a green thumb. :(

LJ, you are right... the sketch must have fit the image to a T because your card is FANTASTIC! I love the little wonky-joggered twist. It seems to add a lot to the look. I admire when people can do that well... mine usually looked like something slipped when I try to do it. LOL!
I'm sure your flowers look very welcoming on the porch.
Laurajean, you nailed it with this kit!! Oh my goodness - splendid!!! This is such a super cute design, and I love that the red and green just give this an incredible POP! Your coloring is fantastic! Now that I see this colored up in red, I'm going to have a do-over and CASE you! LOVE LOVE your card, my friend - fantastic top to bottom!

Wow LJ...this layout is da bomb. You did an amazing job on your card and so beautifully with the dp and layout. You really made your beautifully colored image pop. This card is awesome. I bet your flowers are a very special welcome to anyone visiting your home. Great job with this kit. I am so glad we are duelers together.
LJ, your DDD May card is superb! That sketch was used perfectly to showcase the beautiful papers and darling image you colored beautifully! Great job!!! I think containers with flowers are such a welcoming sight to guests coming to your home!

Your card is SO SO ADORABLE, LJ! I love how you used so many of the papers and those circles for the embossed paper is perfect! I always love your eye for detail in creating your cards. :)
