Hello ~ Hello
It's the 15th of the month so it's time for another duel between the divas and darlings. Our theme this month (chosen by Paola and Kadie) is "Being a Kid At Heart" I totally love this theme - Kadie sent us a fun & bright kit to play with, much of it Disney themed...Which made me even more happier! I have a soft spot for Disney - DisneyWorld especially! It's one of my favorite places to vacation.....such a happy place!
Please excuse the poor photography this time - I took the photo last night with my iPhone and it didn't turn out as well as I had hoped :( My camera battery is dead so that is what I was stuck with. :)
All of the items on the card with the exception of the solid cardstock (real red and white) were included in the kit. We had received some black Mickey Ear cutouts, I adhered one of them to the blue patterned paper and then cut it out for the balloon. I colored Mickey in with copics and then fussy-cut him out. He's so cute! (who doesn't love a mouse right???)
I plan to give this card to my niece in the upcoming weeks - just because :)

Oh LJ! This card is picture perfect! Love the polaroid picture look to it. Yes, I think you MUST give this card to Miss Tavi! She's going to love it!

LJ, this could not be any cuter!! I soooooo LOVE IT!! What a fantastic idea to use that polaroid frame. And I must confess you read my mind, because I was hoping at least 1 person would turn that baker's twine and mickey punch into a balloon!! Yipee!!
Superbly sweet! That little twine to make a balloon is BRILLIANT! One thing you see right when you walk into Magic Kingdom is the balloon peddlers :) Lovely card and a fabulous design - Tavi will love it "Just because" :)

What a sweet card LJ. Love the lighter colored DP you used and how you cut out Mickey and gave him a balloon. Love the die cut sentiment.

i really like that you used the bakers twine as a string for the balloon you created. Such a cute idea. Your card turned out great and I like the choice of papers together.
