Hello Hello ~
Time for our friendly duel between the divas and darlings since it is the 15th of the month! Judy was our hostess this month for the Darlings and our theme is music! It's hard to believe we have not had a musical-themed duel yet! I love music ~ and I have a wide range of music that I like to listen to ~ anything from country (Blake Shelton, Tim McGraw, Lady Antebellum) to current pop (Maroon 5, Train, Five for Fighting) to classic pop/rock (Fleetwood Mac, Billy Joel, Phil Collins). I even have a little bit of Barry Manilow in my collection. :)
This cute image is from Sparkle Creations. I decided to make a square card this time (this one measures 5.5").
Here is what is in the rest of the kit (some of which has been used on my card)....As you can see I have lots extra to use on some future musical cards........Judy really out did herself on this one ~ one of my favorite kits :) Thank you Judy!
Designer Papers:
Imaginisce, Live Loud “Garage Band” (double side with musical instruments/grey & blue diagonal plaid) <--- My favorite easily! So cute!
Stampin’ Up, “Rockabilly” (chartreuse with white crowns)
Crate Paper, Paper Pad (light blue herringbone pattern)
Me & my Big ideas, “Harvest” (orange check foil)
Recollections, “Black Music Notes”
Embossed Panels: Darice “Sheet Music” embossing folder
Accessories:
Recollections, musical notes brads; guitar brads; variety of buttons in black, blue, orange and green; musical sheet music washi tape; zebra pattern mini clothes pins; Paper Studio, musical notes and words stickers; chartreuse adhesive rhinestones; Ribbons: orange satin – Offray; green texture – JoAnn Decorative Ribbon; blue with white dots – Dashes, Dots a& Checks; musical notes – Paper Studio; Black; black and white twine
Thanks so much for stopping by my blog today - Hugs ~ LJ

I like your square card! It features more of the DP and the image. It looks good!
Who knew you are a Barry Pincus {his original last name} music lover?! I think we danced to the Copacobana at a lake party once. There must have been drinks involved! LOL

LJ, this card is absolutely adorable! Love the papers and the buttons - placed perfectly! And the way you used the baker's twine. I never seem to know what to do with it, but you obviously don't have that problem.
