Hello ~ Hello
It's the 15th of the month again and time for this month's duel. This month's hostess is Carol and our theme is "Angels". She sent us a couple of adorable angel images to choose from and a really pretty pastel themed kit.
My life lately has been full of angels watching over my family as we continue to "Chose Hope" and while my dad continues to fight a courageous battle with cancer. It's never easy for anyone to deal with on an emotional or physical level. Each person reacts differently to the challenges it brings. However what we do know, is that nobody can be get through it without "angels" along the way, including family, friends close and far away, medical personnel, and other angels who show up when you least expect them. It might be shoveling snow or it sometimes it's just a quick, "hang in there" when you are in a valley, or an "wonderful" when you are at a peak. Because of my dad's will to fight and angels, I continue to "Choose Hope" while we go through this chapter in our life.
Much gratitude and thanks to those "angels" that have been there the last 6 months. I'm truly blessed to have the support I have in my life, through the good times and bad.
Thanks so much for stopping by today ~ much love to you all ~ LJ

I saw the picture of your card first - and that single word jumped out at me. HOPE. What a beautiful word, especially with all that you and your family have been going through.
Then I read your post and the tears flowed. Tears in knowing that you and your family are surrounded by angels. (((HUGS)))
BTW, your words touched me deeply, but that doesn't mean I wasn't impressed with your card, too. It is truly lovely!
