On The Bucky Wagon
Happy New Year!
As this is my first post of 2011 ~ I'd like to thank the followers of my stamping travels throughout 2010. I'm very thankful for those of you that took the time out of your day to come visit my blog. I read every one of the comments you post, and they all mean a lot to me.....
This weekend was an up and down roller coaster of fun-filled memorial football events, surely an exciting beginning to the new year for me.
First my beloved Badger Football team participated and fought hard in the 2011 Rose Bowl in Pasadena. Although they did not come out on top, they showed true Badger pride and passion and played the game with a 200% effort. I created the above Bucky Wagon on New Years Eve, and finished it just has the ball dropped on Times Square.....my last stamping project of 2011. It's going to go right on my Badger shelf, next to my Beat TCU Rose Bowl pin. :) My inspiration for this project came from this Badger Float Amy Rohl created. The idea is the same, although the wagon box is not a template, I did the measurements on my own. The pennant die is from MFT. Below is a photo of the back:
Today the Packers beat the Bears 10-3, and in doing so won their way into the playoffs. The Bears have a really good team this year, and beating them to get into the post-season was just the perfect ending to a entertaining football weekemd, and the first weekend of 2011.
Thanks for stopping by ~ Happy 2011!
Hugs ~ LJ
