Classy Card Ladies - May 2021

It's well pass the 15th of the month, but here is my card for this month's Classy Card Ladies Card Kit. This month Carol and Shelly are hostesses and we are going to the chapel to get married.........No not really! Ha ha! the theme was based on this video:

This song didn't remind me of a wedding per se, but two of my favorite movies happen to be wedding related, The Wedding Singer & My Best Friend's Wedding. 👰

The image is from Coloardo Craft Company. I colored it with Stampin blends. Carol also sent a wonderful assortment of patterned and specialty papers, most were longer and narrow so I decided to make a slim-line card. The bling is one continuous adhesive strip. So so pretty. Carol always has the most prettiest gems to share!

FMS #481 Just a Little Note

Back with another challenge card - this is for Freshly Made Sketches #481. I have quite a few scraps left yet from the Pretty Petals 6X6 DSP Stack from Stampin Up so I used some of those up on my card. The sentiment is from Stampin Up! (Lots of Heart) which is the current Occasions Mini Catalog. The punched butterfly is an old Martha Stewart punch.

Another day another card :) I made this card for the most recent Tuesday Morning Sketch Challenge. Andrea always comes up with fun sketches and this one does not disappoint! I am not one normally for slim cards - but I am really happy with this cute cowgirl card! Images and sentiment are from My Favorite Things, Patterned paper & die-cuts are from October Afternoon (Sasparilla collection- retired)

Classy Card Ladies - Tuesday Morning Sketches # 592

Hello hello! It's once again the 15th of the month And this month Darlene and I are hostesses for the Diamonds and the Pearls. I am a Diamond and Darlene is a Pearl. As we looked through the prior list of challenges, we (well, Darlene) realized we have not done a sketch challenge! 

Since sketch challenges are right up my alley, I am super excited about this challenge! I emailed my friend Melissa, owner of the Tuesday Morning Sketches Challenge! You may remember I used to be a Design Team (member) for TMS! She graciously gave us permission to use one of her sketches for this month's challenge and I chose sketch #592 (you can find the link below) 

I kept my card simple, using the images, paper and some of the enamel dots. I colored the flowers with my Stampin Blend Markers (Light & Dark Daffodil Delight, Light Pumpkin Pie, Light Cajun Craze and Light Old Olive). I colored part of the sentiment with Light Pumpkin Pie. 

All of the card kit details can be found below. Now there is a surprise. while everyone is getting images from the same stamp set, using the same sketch and other supplies, there is one noticeable difference with each card! I hope everyone can find it!

TMS #598 - Hoppy Easter

I'm digging into my stash of new Easter supplies and thought I would enter a few challenges. This card was made for Tuesday Morning Sketch #598. My card uses patterned paper and die cuts from the Welcome Easter collection from Echo Park.

Class Card Ladies (March)

Hello Hello - 

It's the 15th of the month so of course it's time for another Classy Card Ladies card! This month's kit comes from Barb in wonderful Waukesha, Wisconsin. The theme is butterflies and I love the kit she sent! The image and sentiment is from Tim Holtz. Patterned papers are Stampin Up (retired) I also used some of the ribbon and pearls Barb Sent with the kit. I colored the image with my Stampin Blend Markers (Stampin Up)
