TMS #511 - HAPPY 10TH BIRTHDAY Tuesday Morning Sketches

Hello Hello -

I'm here with another Tuesday Morning Sketch Challenge - and this one is a big one as we are celebrating:
Happy 10th Birthday Tuesday Morning Sketches!

It's so AMAZING to see a sketch challenge blog last this long! It does not happen very often! That being said, here is my card for this week's challenge, I'm adding another card to my Christmas card stash (many of which go to my local Ronald McDonald House). My card has mostly supplies from October Afternoon, with the exception of the ribbon (Stampin Up), Silver snowflake (Stampin Up) and gemstones (Hobby Lobby).

This sketch is a fun one too!

Hope you will decide to play along! In addition to our fantastic DT Inspiration, we also have two special guests - Joni Wilson and Sheri Gilson. I know Joni back from my days of being on her Inktegrity Designs Design Team, and Sheri is well known for her fantastic creations as a member of the Gina K Designs DT! I'm so excited they could both play along with us this week!

Thanks for stopping by! Hugs ~ LJ

TMS #510 - Howdy!

Hello Hello!

I am happy to share my card today for TMS Sketch Challenge #510 designed by Melissa! I pulled out another My Favorite Things Pure Innocence Image this time - "Cowgirl" and colored her with prismacolor pencils and gamsol. The embellishment in the lower right hand corner are also MFT charm dies (retired) I sponged some ink on to the die-cut boots to make them a little worn. The cowboy hat charm is from my stash.

Here is this week's sketch if you would like to try it out!

TMS #509 - We Have Chemistry

Welcome to Tuesday Morning Sketches Challenge #509! We have a a very simple sketch this week - so we are hoping lots of you will decide to join us! We also have a guest DT playing with us this week - Annemarie and Merit from Scrapcard Girls! Welcome ladies!

I used one of the Pure Innocence cuties from My Favorite Things on my card. She is colored with Prismacolor Pencils and gamsol. The gingham paper is also from MFT, as well as pretty Oval Scalloped die and the die I used to frame the sentiment.

Here is this week's sketch if you would like to try it out:

TMS #508 - Ruff Day?

Hello Hello!

Welcome to Tuesday Morning Sketch Challenge #508! Debbie has another fun sketch for is this week that is very versatile! This was the perfect sketch for one of my Tim Holtz Crazy Dogs stamps that I love so much! I colored the image with Stampin Blend Markers popped it up on a white panel then matted it on a Chocolate Chip panel. The patterned paper is from Basic Grey (6X6 Max and Whiskers Collection) and the "Ruff Day" sentiment is from Kraftin Kimmie Stamps.  I added some brown fibers underneath the sentiment panel.

Here is the sketch if you would like to try it out with us this week:

MFTWSC441 - I'm Hooked On You

Hello Hello -

I had some time this weekend to play with the latest My Favorite Things Sketch Challenge
When I first saw this sketch I knew right away I wanted to use "Ocean Fun" with coordinating dienamics that I got with my last order. I really like how this card turned out and I think it's super cute!

Here is this week's sketch:

"Boo" in June

Hello Hello -

It's the 15th of June already! I'm starting to wonder when summer will arrive here in south-central Wisconsin has I have not needed to use my AC yet (not that I am complaining about that part).

Anyway - it's time for our monthly Duel between the Divas and Dazzlers. I am on the Dazzler team and Tami is the hostess, she sent a fun Halloween in June card kit to play with. The Diva hostess this month is Terry L and she sent the Divas a different kit with the same theme! It will be fun to see what everyone comes up with.

Tami sent us images from Delightfully Spooky from Red Rubber Designs. The rest of the supplies are "from her stash" although I am 99% positive the background patterned paper I used is from Basic Grey. I colored the image with my Stampin Blends, then cut it out with a rectangle die, and sponged the sides with orange ink. I used my MFT Banner Die-Namics to die-cut the banner die. The orange corners started as a single 1" sticky dot that I cut into fourths and added one to each corner.

Here is the inside of my card, where I used the rest of the patterned paper that appears on the front of the card, and matted the sentiment on black card-stock

Thanks so much for stopping by! Hugs ~ LJ
