Whipper Snapper Swap Spot #2

Hello Hello

Today I am sharing my 2nd card for Barb's Whipper Snapper / Penny Black Card. I created a cute kids birthday card using EY858  - Simba from Whipper Snapper Designs. I got this cute guy on clearance the last time I was at Creative Pals (home of Whipper Snapper Designs) and thought he would be perfect for this swap.  The sentiment is fromStampin Up. I used some patterned paper from DCWV, SU! Ribbon, green button (vendor unknown) and some twine.

Happy Spring!

Hello Hello!

Happy Friday! I have another swap card to share today, this is for Barb's Whipper Snapper swap on SCS. I love Barb's Whipper Snapper/Penny Black Swaps. I always get great cards back! This was animal themed so I was happy to pull out one of my favorite images for this swap.

For my card (which is #1 of 2 spots)  I used CY753 - Owen. I colored him with my prismacolor/copic markers and used a sentiment from a retired MFT Pure Innocence Set. The patterned paper is from My Minds' Eye (Good Day Sunshine Collection). I used a yellow PTI Button to anchor the sentiment on to a banner panel (MFT Die)

Hello Hello

Time for another duel between the Divas and Darlings. Suzy (our Diva hostess) sent us an adorable valentines' themed kit to play with using one of my favorite Stampin Up Sets - Have A Heart. I love all the soft-colored Recollections patterned paper she sent and the heart die-cuts coordinate perfectly!

MOJO 481

Hello Hello

Today I am sharing my card for MOJO Sketch #481. The snoopy image was RAK'd to me by my good friend Kathy down in Georgia. We've been friends for years as a result of SCS (Splitcoast Stampers).

If you peek behind the card, there's a think stack of images that have been RAK'd to me over the years. My goal for 2017 is to use more of these for swaps. I also have an even thicker stash of 6x6 papers that are either RAKs, parts of card kits, or left over from my 12X12 sheets that I have trimmed down. I plan to try to use these too! :)  The paper I used is from that stash, and then the ribbon is from my brown ribbon bag (more RAKs and kit leftovers).

Yay for using what I already have..... :) Hugs ! LJ

Congrats!

Hello Hello -

I joined a new monthly challenge group on SCS - created by Barbaralynn - and it's called Challenge Your Stash (CYS). The idea of this challenge is to use what you have in your stash with out buying new stuff to play with. Barb is this month's challenger, and the challenge is to use Black, White and Silver. I decided to create a wedding card, using the Amuse Bride and Groom stamp. It's embossed with silver EP from American Crafts.

Thanks for stopping by!
