Hanna Guest DT Call - MOJO90

Here is my 2nd entry of the day for the Hanna Stamps Guest Designer Call over on SCS. For this card I paper pieced Sick Riley and used this past week's MOJO sketch.

Sorry my posts are a little on the short side, I have been a little under the weather the last week with some really nasty headaches and am trying to limit time on the computer!

Hanna Stamps DT Call

Hanna Stamps! is having a Design Team (DT) Call over on SCS for 6 DTS! I would soooo love to be a Hanna DT member! Hanna herself is adorable (see previous post for Bowling Hanna) and who doesn't like Riley and Sophie??? I love them!

Anyhow, this is my submission for the DT position! I made this as a gift for my friend at work, who mentioned once she never had the right" guy card to give. Turns out a few of her guy pals are big Badger Football Fans, so I made this card box with coordinating cards to give to her. I think she will love it! There is a set of four cards, two of each design pictured above.

My Favorite Things Sketch Challenge

Here is my submission for the MFT Sketch Challenge for this week. I chose to use the "Girls Night Out" set for this layout. It's one of my favorite MFT sets. The DP is from SU (Blueberry Maine). I paper-pieced most of the main image (the wine glasses were colored). The DP on the bottom card is actually the inside of the card.

Thanks for looking!

Hanna Challenge Time

One of this month's hanna challenges was to "create a scene". This is my entry. I used to bowl TONS so this card was right "Up my Alley". I still miss bowling a lot! I bowled wednesday nights at 6:30. (a few years I was bowling 3 nights a week!). I also was on my college bowling team (Madison Area Technical College). I think my average "peaked" at 185 one year, but I just can't do it with my back anymore.

Anyways, now that I'm done visiting "memory lane" for the time being, onto the card. The bowling pins, trophy, and hanna herself were all stamped with memento tuxedo black ink. Everything else on the card was hand-drawn. Hanna and the trophy are popped up on dimensionals, the table was made out of close to cocoa and chocolate chip card-stock scraps. All of the coloring was done with Prismacolor Premier Markers. The sentiment "Strike" was stamped with Night of Navy. and then the main panel was matted on Brocade Blue on top of Gina K Chocolate Kiss card-stock base.

MOJO89 ~

Here is my take on the Mojo Monday Sketch this week! I used the new Lazy Days of Summer Set which you can get for FREE when you buy three other sets at Gina K Designs. I love this set. This card also uses the Sweet Slumber Specialty Paper from Stampin Up, which I am really sad to see go, but that means there's probably more cool new paper on the horizon right?

Have a super sunday! I have another card with this set that I will be sharing tomorrow!

You're a Winner!

Hello,

My dad's birthday is today, so I thought I would share his birthday card with you today. This card was perfect for him, because like a lot of Dads, mine loves to golf when he isn't out "carting" me around.

It uses two Gina K Designs Sets, Ribbon Stripes, and King of the Grill.  The blue card-stock is also Gina K Designs, Called In the Navy. It The shade is very close to SU's Night of Navy, but it's much smoother and a little heavier weight. I absolutely love the stuff. The main image was colored with a combination of prismacolor markers and SU Markers (used for smaller areas).

Have a wonderful Saturday!

Traveling Turtle

Hello!

Here's a card I made for a Gina K Release Party Challenge, which was to make a kids' card. I used Whatever Floats Your Boat, Tag You're It, and the new Ribbon Stripes to make this card. The main image was colored in with Prismacolor Markers and cut out.

Sorry this is a short post, I'm a little under the weather this week.

Hugs,
