Terrific Tee

Just a quick post tonight as I am falling asleep on my laptop (LOL) I made this card for the 3rd spot I have for Gabby's "Little Tees" swap on SCS. The DP is from DCWV Nana's Kids. The celery and blue DP is is embossed, and the bottom piece has glitter on it.

IC145 Pumpkin Harvest

One more challenge card for the weekend, for SCS Inspiration Challenge #145 which required to use a picture of a fall-colored room inspiration for our card. I chose to pull out some of the warm colors that were in the room and this is what I came up with using Gina K's Whimsical Autumn Stamp set.

Taylored Expressions Challenge #33

I found another sketch challenge! This one is from Taylored Expressions. I used two Gina K sets for this card, Autumn Leaves and Spring Blooms ~ so here is two seasons in one card. I used ny new Autumn Type CB Embossing folder for the tan panels.

Here is the card I made for Beate's Weekend Sketch Challenge  For The image I used Summer Harvest by Gina K Designs.  I stamped it on watercolor paper with Timber Brown Stazon Ink, and then using my blender pen and inkpads (Old Olive and Riding Hood Red) I colored in the image.

We Will Never Forget...9/11

Today marks the 7th anniversary of the tragic events that happened on 9/11. Today it still affects me, how I view the world, and how I feel about the brave men and woman that risk their lives everyday to help protect the freedoms I have. I made the card above tonight with Melanie's new set called Just So Sporty. I first stamped the image in whisper white, then stamped the image again on Real Red, I cut out the arms and hood section, and layered it on the whisper white image. The "USA" was created with multiple word stamps from the set (I inked each letter separately). God bless our troops wishing them all a safe trip home back to the USA.

Feeling Like Fall

It's starting to feel more like fall around here, some of the trees are starting to change color, college football Saturdays are in full swing, and actually this is my favorite time of the year. I love crisp mornings when I need a light jacket. So I played with Whimsical Autumn again tonight and this is what I came up with. I love these images because they are so good for coloring. I used my Prismacolor Premier Markers this time. The squirrel was cut out and popped up with dimensionals. I also used one of my new CB embossing folders for this card.
