This is for the Gina K Sketch Challenge from Friday's Release Party. The challenge was hosted by Cammie. For this challenge, I decided to use an image from Gina K's Summer Harvest Set. I just cut this set up recently and really love these images.

The image was stamped in Black Stazon on Whisper White, and then I colored it in with WWC and Blender Pen, The DSP is SU Ginger BLossom. Other colors I used on the card are : Chocolate Chip, Old Olive, and Ruby Red.

Thanks for looking!

The second challenge was hosted by Jessica, to take a 6X6 sheet of pattern paper, cut it into four pre-determined sizes, and use all four pieces to make a card. I chose the Jersey Shore DSP, and the set Whatever Floats Your Boat to make my card. I used my circle nestabilities for the main image, which was stamped in black Stazon on Whisper White.
The inside of the card is below

Here is the inside of the card,

A Treat for Kelli Jo

My buddy KelliJo on SCS is hosting a coaster swap. As I thank you, I made her this little Baseball-themed tin with a little Derek Jeter uniform on the front (one of her favorite players). Don't have a full supply list for this one, as I wasn't keeping track (sorry). She kept posting on her thread how she so can't do tins, so I thought it would be nice to share one of mine with her....LOL

I'm gonna be busy today working on challenges related to the Gina K Release Party...so I'll get those posted on here later!

MFT Guest Designer Challenge

This is the first time I participated in the MFT Guest Designer Challenge on SCS. Some of my SCS buddies were chatting it up and I decided what the heck, give it a whirl. The stamps are from Ride Em Cowgirl, which is the first MFT set I bought. Just love those cute little cowgirl boots! So to make this card, I stamped the main image 3X on whisper white card stock, cut them out, and lined them up on the DSP (Retired SU) I then stamped the boots and the ground on the same line of DSP (forgive me I forgot the name of the DSP!)  and then layered those on top. I colored in the skirt with Sage Shadow WWC, and then used SU Markers for the rest. The Ribbon is Seaside Ribbon Originals (also retired SU).

Thanks for looking! Hugs! LJ

Gina K Giraffe

Another Gina K card to share tonight! I would have shared it sooner, but my allergies were terrible today, so I crashed for 3 hours after I got home from work. The image part of the card I have had done for about 2 weeks. I was just waiting for the inspiration for the rest of the card to come together.

I stamped the entire image twice, and then I cut the giraffe out and popped it up with dimensonals to give it a little 3d look. The image was colored with prismacolor markers. The base of the card is Groovy Guava, all of the rest of the paper is from the Basic Grey Cupcake line (6X6 pack) which I got at Gina K's Store. The Brads at the bottom of the card are also Basic Grey and the Ribbon is SU.

I can't wait for the release party tomorrow night! I have been looking at all the previews so far and can't wait to see the full sets! :)

cc182 Summer Birthday

I made this card for my aunt florence, her birthday is today (happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you..) I am PATIENTLY awaiting the new Gina K Releases coming up this Friday On SCS; yet I had one set from the last release I had not played with (Summer Harvest).  I really like this set. It's hard to find sets with really pretty vegetable images. And this set is perfect for early fall. Anyhow, I also used today's color combo (monochromatic) on SCS for the colors. The base of the card is Mellow Moss, and I also used Always Artichoke (card stock and DSP from the new prints pack), and chocolate chip because I felt it needed some neutral. The image was stamped in Stazon Timber Brown on 140lb Watercolor paper. I then colored in the image with Prismacolor Pencils, and used Gina K Mineral Spirits and blending stumps to blend it together. The Ribbon is from SU Theater Ribbon Originals (retired) and I also used some of my retired SU HPH. Hope Aunt Flo likes it !
