So I am passionate about a few things in life, and I have combined two of them together (Stamping and the Wisconsin Badgers) into one card. I made this card using Little Tees (Gina K Designs). The image on the T I pulled off a website, saved it as a .jpg image, sized it up in PrintShop2, and then printed it off on WW cardstock. I then stamped the tee over the image. (had to try this a few times to get it lined up just right). I stamped the "I love" part and then cut the T out and popped it up with dimensionals. The red bling on the border is from Paper Studio (Hobby Lobby).  The Bucky Badger DP I picked up at a LSS here in town.

Can you tell I am ready for football season? The Badgers open August 30th! Go BUCKY!

Another Sketch,,,

Here is another sketch I did for the Verve 1st Anniversary. Again, I used SU True Friend. This was a pretty simple sketch. I am really loving the new SU Scallop Punch. The base paper is Pink Pirouette which is a new SU color for 2008/2009.

Tomorrow I will have a new Little Tee card, and it's related to another favorite hobby of mine...

A Flower for a Friend

Mom and I were looking at the new SU catalog today and I came across this set (True Friend) and realized I had not inked it up for awhile. So I came up with this tonight using one of the Verve Visual 1st Anniversary Sketches (AVS01).  I used some of my new Bella Rose DSP from SU as well. This was a fun sketch to play with!

Stamps: True Friend
CS: Pink Pirouette, Choc Chip, WW, Bella Rose DSP
Ink: Riding Hood Red, Old Olive
Access: Silver HPH, Olive Twill Ribbon, Button Bouquet

SC188 Happy Turtle

Hello!

Wanted to post my card for this week's sketch challenge on SCS. I flipped the sketch to make the card horizontal. The Image is from Gina K (Whatever Floats Your Boat). It's an adorable set! I colored in the image using just SU Inkpads and a SU Blender Pen. The DSP is Jersey Shore (Retired SU as of tomorrow). I ordered another full pack of this DSP so I would not run out anytime soon (I love it!) .

I had a really nice evening! Went to the Brewers game with an old friend. The Brewers won 5-0!  Made really good time getting home as well, as the game was under 2.5 hours! :-)

I popped it up with dimensionals....So whaddya think?

I'm having problems uploading any pictures tonight to blogger, which mean's it must be just too DARN CUTE! I'll try it again tomorrow. I made the cutest Coaster Album using the Little Tees set.....Got so happy about it and now I can't share it tonight.....

If you can't wait to see it here, It's loaded into my SCS Gallery

sc179 Happy Thoughts

For this week's limited supply challenge, we were supposed to make a card that would make someone happy. I hope this fits the bill, because I am loving how it turned out. This is the first time took my Prismacolor Marker Coloring seriously. They have a really good beginner video on their website. The stamp set is called "Flowers For Daisy" designed by Asela Hopkins for Gina K Designs. For a limited time, a portion of the sales for this set will be donated to the American Cancer Society in honor of Asela's friend Daisy who is fighting a courageous battle with cancer. It's a really beautiful set. I can't wait to play with it some more.
