WT177 - Scrap It

This is for SCS WT177 (way to use it challenge) I think this is the first time I have done this challenge. I normally just do color combos and sketch challenges, but when I got the Little Tees Set (by Melanie Muenchinger for Gina K Designs) I KNEW I wanted to do a t-shirt on some pretty pink pattern paper like this. So I found all this pink DP in my DP scrap baggie..SOOOO LOVIN IT! 

The base of the card is Pink Piroette which is a new SU In Color....The bling is from K&CO, everything else is SU :) Thanks for looking!

SC187 Floatin Mousie

One more card tonight before I get to bed. This adorable mousie is from one of the new Gina K Designs sets (Whatever Floats Your Boat) that I got tonight. I used today's sketch challenge on SCS for the layout. Love these panels! The paper for the 3 panels is by DCWV. Mom gave me a stack of it to play with (thanks mom!) The orange and pink are glitter cardstock (hard to see in the picture). I also used some of the New SU 08/09 In Colors (Kiwi Kiss, Baja Breeze, & Pacific Point. The image was stamped with Jet Black Stazon on Whisper White, and then I colored it with Prismacolor Premier Markers (birthday present from my DS and BIL) I used Regal Rose Brads on the corners, and the Ribbon is SU Fairytale Ribbon Originals.

cc176 Soft Sky/River Rock/Very Vanilla

Yep, I'm actually posting two nights in a row! :) Here is last weeks color combo challenge from SCS. I really love these soft colors - wish we didn't have to say goodbye to them! The DSP is Ginger Blossom (which is also retiring - sniff!) The center of the flower is a brad from the SU Silver Hodgepodge Kit that i have been hoarding.....

Other news, I made a trip to the Gina K Designs store in McFarland after work today and got loads of new rubber to play with! I love all the new sets that just came out, and I picked up Little Tees, Whatever Floats Your Boat, Flowers for Daisy, and then I got Summer Harvest which is the Free set this time around....SO I will have some new stuff to show ya soon! :)

Cc177 Hats off!

Not feeling all that great today, but I saw today's Color Challenge on SCS and inspiration hit me immediately. For this card I used a stamp from "Thinking of You" which is a set designed by Rupa Shevde for Gina K Designs. I just love this stamp set. The challenge was to use Groovy Guava, Sahara Sand, and Whisper White. I love this color combo. I used my nestabilities to make the ovals. Thanks for looking! :) 

Double Pocket Bag

Hi there, 

Finally posting a project for a change. I'm all settled in and should be blogging on a regular basis. I made this double-pocket bag from ONE sheet of 12X12 DSP. How did I do it? 

Well, I Found the directions on SplitcoastStampers HERE

The only "change" to the directions was I added the flap closure. It's stays closed with velcro circles :)

I'm here....

Hello All!

Just wanted to let the FEW that peek into my blog once in awhile that I am still around! LOL! I finally got things unpacked and hope to be blogging more actively soon! :) I might even have a card or project to post today....stay tuned! 

Bare Cupboards

Here is why you might not see some cards from me for a few weeks....I'm moving and the cupboards are bare....for the most part at least.  I started packing the stamps tonight. I got all my SU Stamps into three boxes with the exception of 4-5 stray sets. I'll be packing the rest up this weekend....and taking them to my new home on June 14th! :) I'm really excited to be getting my own "pad"! Back to packing....
